Nice and quiet

Pros: quiet
Cons: facilities maintenance
Very nice and quiet place with a good atmosphere. Easy to have a nice rest or even for a really nice walk by the sea. Best place to hide away from London :)

Never again!

Posted May 26, 2016
Pros: Remoteness!
Cons: They could revert this bedroom back to a broom closet!
Location: There is nothing in the close vicinity,
The room was a glorified broom closet! ....only furniture in room was two bedside units, well past there sell by date! How they had the nerve to rent out this room is unbelievable! Nowhere to place items for personal use, except the windowsill, the top of the window opened to the fine view of a roof on a out building!...food was overcooked, returned at 9.30pm to find we have been locked out! I would not rely on Expedia for advice in the future!

Off the Beaten Track!!!

Pros: Comfortable quiet room in a nice old chracterful building.
Cons: Breakfast doesn't start until 7.30AM Reception doesn't open until 7.30AM Took 2 x phone calls to receive an invoice
Location: No Time to explore
The hotel is in a really nice spot if a little isolated. The room was very comfortable and the guy behind the bar was helpful and friendly when I checked in. I checked in after 10.00 and i understand that once the bar closes the hotel is not attended. There is a check in process for out of hours where you can access your room if arriving late. If you're going to arrive late bear in mind that the hotel is in an isolated spot and it will be very dark on arrival. This may not be to everyone's liking. I cannot comment on the food as I arrived too late for an evening meal and left too early for breakfast. Some travellers may not feel comfortable with the hotel not being attended 24 hours a day. I understand the managers live off site and can be contacted by phone if required. As per my following comments breakfast is served from 7.30 AM and I would therefore suggest this may be more suited to leisure rather than business travellers. As I left before the hotel opened I didn't receive an invoice and subsequently had to follow this up with 2 x phone calls before it was e-mailed.

Lovely stay with beautiful views

A lovely stay at the Ferry House Inn. We stayed in the spa room which was slightly exaggerated and not really a spa so a little disappointing and the floor boards really creak. Saying that the room was very comfortable, nice and quiet and the staff are excellent. We went for the large breakfast which beat us both but the food was top drawer and totally yummy. Would definitely stay here again hopefully for more than 1 night. Keep the good work up guys .......
