Fox Creek Lodge is your perfect rustic cabin nestled in a hollow on 35 acres of secluded mountainside land that is right up the driveway from the Shenandoah River located in the Shenandoah Valley. This beautiful property is centrally located just 15 miles from Massanutten Ski & Indoor/Outdoor Water Park Resort and historic Luray featuring Luray Caverns, the most popular cave in Eastern America. The Shenandoah National Park offers breathtaking views from Skyline Drive (Swift Run Gap access point only 17 miles away) and various distance trail hikes to waterfalls and beautiful scenery. There are many wineries and breweries close by as well as outdoor activity companies to help with river tubing, canoeing and fishing. The lodge features an open living and dining concept. Dining table seats 8 and can accommodate additional pulled up chairs. There is also a bar top with 3 stools and wine/beer fridge. 2.5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms sleeping 14. Additional sleeping arrangements are possible with pull-out sofa. There are baby gates and a Pack 'n Play for your use while staying at Fox Creek Lodge. Enjoy the decks & balcony overlooking the seasonal pond and railroad tracks. Corn-hole, Frisbee, Croquet and Foosball are a few of the entertainment items available on the property. Pets are welcome for a fee so just let us know if your fur babies will be joining you. We furnish all linens, bathroom essentials, cleaning supplies, paper products, firewood, Propane gas, spice rack & some condiments as well as other kitchen items. Our beds are made with our linens prior to your arrival. Our maintenance and cleaning team are available if needed.

Air-conditioned accommodations at this cabin offer fireplaces and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas.

Excellent Getaway

We had a fantastic family vacation on a long weekend at this property. The property owners are fantastic and super responsive. The description of the place and photographs were accurate. The only downfall was the steep incline driveway leading up to the house. It snowed and then rain/freeze so I was afraid to go out and explore things in the area like the wineries and caverns due to fear of my car skidding on the driveway. That aside, I strongly recommend this property.

Peaceful

For an end of December stay, the weather was amazing. We enjoyed an evening by the outdoor firepit with convenient access to plenty of firewood! As we ventured indoors to a cozy atmosphere of natural wood and warmth we compliment the owners of how well the kitchen was stocked. The surrounding property and trails were beautiful, quiet and not too long. Also it was nice having a train pass by occasionally. The smaller 2 bedrooms with the double beds could use an over the bed shelf and or headboard for a wee bit of storage. Overall...very enjoyable and we would definitely stay again.

Christmas retreat

We had a blast exploring this upscale rustic lodge and property. There were places for adults to hang and kids to hang, no one felt cramped and there were 8 of us and two dogs. The property was extremely clean and well equipped with anything we could have needed. Communication with Chris and Bethanie was great. Good time had by all and we look forward to returning soon.

Sweet memories!

We enjoyed our stay very much!! The owners were very responsive to all our questions in a timely manner. It was a fun place to just hang out together and play games, cornhole, walk the property, or just sit and visit. Driving through the tunnel was cool even if coming up the hill after was a bit scary. It felt like quite an adventure every time! Our granddaughter enjoyed the swingset and it was nice for her to have plenty of room to run and play. We had a bit of an issue getting the heat/air units to work in the rooms but finally got it figured out. 2 of the bedrooms upstairs are very small and the queen beds fill them up. We used those for our grandkids and the adults ended up sleeping in the bunkroom. It was in a beautiful area and a good location to do some of the activities (Luray Caverns, Shenandoah NP, etc) in the region.
