1800 sqf 4 bedroom / 8 guests 2 full bathroom Kitchen Game room on lower level Big family/ dining room with wood burning fireplace This is a fixed rate rental cabin. We do not charge you extra for cleaning fee, additional guests, pet fee, property damage insurance fee. We want to keep this as simple as possible. Private Shenandoah River access Close to Luray caverns in the Shenandoah Valley Massanutten Four season resort ( golf course, water park, dining, spa, skiing) Harrisonburg shopping centers Old historic Charlottesville We will provide: Toilet paper Hand soap Towels Dish detergent Sponge Full bedding set Outdoor grill You will need to bring: Your own groceries incl. spices, oil and such Drinking water Disposables ( real dishes are available) Fire wood for indoor fire place Toiletry items 4x4 vehicle recommened and must have during the snow season. The cabin us located at 1400 feet on top of the mountain. The road from the river up 1.7 miles is gravel with some steep ups and downs at some points.
Air-conditioned accommodations at this cabin offer fireplaces and hair dryers. Rooms open to patios. Refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee/tea makers are provided.

Secluded getaway
Great views and location. Clean house will all of the necessities, including kitchen utensils. Warm and comfortable in the winter, and more than enough space for four people. Would come back.

Clean house with great views
This house was perfectly clean, very important during 2020 travels. Beds are comfortable, linens, towels are provided and good. views from the deck are great. Jana provided quick responses over texts via VRBO. Location is secluded, neighbors are quiet, we could simply walk out of the door for a morning hike before breakfast. Table tennis table was good for those early winter evenings entertainment. We visited with two little kids so I packed some of their toys. There are games available in the house for older kids or adults. Few things to keep in mind, drive to the house during bad weather can be tricky for inexperienced drivers. (This is because house is is in nice secluded woods). There is no washer, dryer, dish washer, as listed. Stairs into basement can be a bit steep for elderly. One could use deck stairs instead. If you are planning to cook meals, Bring every food item from salt to ketchup and serving spoons, except cooking utensils, cups and dishes and silverware which is available at the house and very clean. There were no water/wine glasses which was a bit of a bummer but we made use of plastic cups provided. Garbage needs to be dropped off at landfill which is 20 minutes drive out, but it was on the way to Luray and easy to manage really. All said I would hope to visit again in fall for the views, which should be extraordinary from this house.

Weekend Retreat
If you want a remote place to get away this place is great. Beautiful area and views. The cabin was very clean and well furnished. The whole experience was easy from check in to check out.

Quiet Neighborhood
Good place to stay for the weekend with private river access and Mountain View. Be careful driving in the dark because the private road getting there is very narrow. Overall, we enjoyed being away from the city while staying here.
