Wonderful house, grounds and view. Every detail is looked after. Breakfast very good. I had to leave early, before breakfast and they made a light refreshing breakfast to go. Will go and stay again.
The staff were very accommodating. Our check in wasn't until 4pm but we called to question early check in because we had a wedding to attend at 5pm, which was 30 minutes away. The staff were able to clean our room and have it ready by 12pm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Hotel is full of turn of the century furnishings. Doors are not straight and some are difficult to close and lock. All rooms are up stairs with no elevator. But in an old building it is to be expected. Restaurant and pub on premises, good food. Well worth the stay. We a planning on going back with ...
Pat and Jack were gracious hosts. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The grounds are lush with vegetation and secluded which makes the property surroundings quiet and serene. The wine and cheese hour is a nice venue for meeting other guests and to learn about the historic significance ...
Pros: We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very thoughtful. We ordered room service and the food was wonderful as well. VERY COMFORTABLE MATTRESS. Would stay again. Cons: Slight smell in the room but the building is old.
Excellent. Highly Highly recommended. They make the breakfast specially for you, at the exact time you want. ITs almost like at home. Do not miss this place. Both the inn keepers are the best. I thought it was better than a 5 star hotel.
