Awful hotel, awful customer service

Posted Aug 16, 2015
I rated this hotel terrible because they have the most abhorrent staff and refund policy. I booked through Expedia and the reservation was for the wrong day, instead of seeing the error when I showed up to stay, they said, "sorry about your luck." No compromisecompromise, no discussion. The clerk just went silent and ignored me when I asked for a transfer of stay and when I contacted Expedia they refused to even partially refund my money. I'd suggest you sleep in your car before you stay in this hotel.

Dont bother

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Not much
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Nothing but not hotels fault. Just a small area.
Place is a fire hazard. Light cords repaired with different size cords and electrical tape. Shower light switch and exhaust fan timer right next to shower curtain and cover loose. Water can easily gain access to areas.

Would not recommend

Posted Aug 8, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleanliness to get rid of dead bugs near window. Smell was awful
Location: To close to the road. Heard trucks all night.
Room smelled like cigarette smoke even in the non smoking room. Towels were worn out. Beds were comfortable and seemed fairly clean. Pool did not look safe to swim in. The safety look was broken and there were dead bugs on the window ledge and in the vents of the air conditioning unit.

Pros: Staff were trying to help, but facilities are very old.
Cons: make a renovations of everything!
Location: Location is good enough to find everything around.
For this price you can expect much more. It was not clean bed. A lot of things did not work properly.

Nice and quiet

Posted Jun 27, 2015
We were looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay...nothing elaborate. When we checked in, the receptionist was very friendly. Later, we found the housekeeping staff to be extremely friendly and polite. While we didn't get a chance to swim, the pool looked inviting. The breakfast bar was decent, and had a variety of things to eat. Even though the hotel is older and dated, it was clean and well kept. It was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay! We would have no problem staying there, if we visit the area again.

easy access from street

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: Breakfast area in no way meets the size of the motel.
Location: Drove to Safari Park in Natural Bridge.
The manager up graded us to a larger room with bars in the shower. It was a pleasure to be able to spread out since we were staying several days. The breakfast area was extremely small. We often had to wait for a place to sit. Since the manager was checking out people he was not able to keep the breakfast food and utensils replenished. I would stsay there again and ask for the same room.

Bad hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is very outdated. We had a light out in our bathroom and it took 3 days to have it replaced. The building we stayed in had a very bad odor of smoking. In essence it was a dump. It advertised a pool. The pool was empty.

horrible, the worst place I've ever stayed.

Non smoking room ordered, and sign on door said no smoking, but they put smoking rooms in the same building and put the smoking rooms on the bottom floor, morons. Who puts smoking rooms in the same building as non smoking rooms when the hallway is open and on top of that puts the smoking rooms on the bottom. When i brought it to their attention i was just informed that there are also smoking rooms in the building. that's when i noticed they were on the first floor woke the non-smoking rooms were on the 2nd floor, forcing us non smokers to have to breathe that nasty stuff in. the place felt like a nasty ashtray. The whole place reaked of smoke and was insanely hot because they turned the AC of every day forcing me to come back to a 75 to 80 degree room at 9pm. I stayed for 3 nights and had to go back to the office each night because my key wouldn't work. meanwhile I'm carrying 3 bags,my 6 year old sons blanket with all his stuffed animals, and having to keep track of my son in the parking lot to go back into the office to get the key reprogrammed. Honestly, I've never asked for money back, but this one should warrant it. No effort was made to post me a room in the other building or make amends for the fact that the place wasn't smoke free.

If you have to stay here

Posted May 20, 2015
Cons: The NON Smoking Policy. The cleanliness
Not a lot of choices here re the Skyline Drive. The room is basically good except for the NON smoking room STANK of cigarettes. The noise level is significant with people talking outside. And the freight trains. Didn't know the hotel accepted dogs+++++, I'm acutely allergic to them. The entrance to our block had one large bag of rubbish on the ground, 2 FULL rubbish bins and a full ash tray upon arrival - all were still there the next day - YUK!!! Expensive rate for such poor quality

Eigentlich okay, aber.....

Posted May 19, 2015
Grundsätzlich war alles okay, aber wenn man ein Hotelzimmer als Nichtraucherzimmer bezeichnet, sollte man renovieren, bevor man den Titel vergibt. Hier hätte man sich problemlos eine Tapete rollen können.
