Drawback - In room temperature control

The main drawback in the hotel ( which generally applies to all of the Marriott that I've stayed in China ) was the climate control in the room during winter time. Supposedly because of the 'cold' weather, the room temperature was set at like 24 degrees and non adjustable. It was very stuffy inside the room especially when outside temperature was not really that cold, in the range of 20 degrees lately. Had made the same comment in my last Marriott stay during winter time but seems like they are not doing anything. Luckily this time they have not turned on the heater. The hotel controls the temperature of all the rooms. The female staff at check in was not very helpful nor cheerful. Discovered a really nice eatery at the hotel -- the Tofu boutique store - with great food and pleasant service.

I would never stay at this property again bad food, bad service, find another hotel not one English speaking staff for a Marriot very disappointed

I have stayed at other hotels but i love staying at the Marriott hotels they are so nice to be made to feel welcome and the service is very good and the staff are always so helpful

The hotel overall is excellent. Some items need some up keep such as the safety deposit box is dated and ran out of battery. Check out staff charged me again for the room although it was paid thru Expedia..

Gorgeous JW Marriott.

It is an amazing hotel with gracious staff in the hotel and longe. We would definitely return. The only negative was breakfast in the restaurant. When we got there we were told we only had ten minutes. (Which we understood). The selection was wonderful but staff very unfriendly to us. They never checked with us and it was difficult to get a cup of coffee. The only time we got a half smile was when we left.
