“Street is missing a trick. The town is crying out for a great, modern hotel with the facilities to challenge what is currently available - it would be an absolute winner. I chose Mullions simply because of the limited options for overnight stays in the area. Unfortunately, the room itself was incredibly tired. I was met with broken furniture, dusty bedside surfaces and lamps, and a distinct smell of damp in the bathroom. Worse still, while the towels appeared clean, they carried a noticeable……

“Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. The bathroom was clean but not a deep clean level as there was dust and grime around the toilet. The towels were plentiful and clean. The bedding was clean but the divan itself had a stain as……

“On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a……
