Hotel overall is nice - room not so much.

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Overall appeal from the outside and lobby looked very modern.
Cons: - Better attention to cleanliness - finish the raw concrete ceilings, they make the room feel incomplete
My room was the downfall. The hallway leading to my room reeked like paint. The room itself had some areas that were clearly missed during cleaning. Looked like coffee had spilled on the wall, the unappealing raw-concrete ceiling had many cobwebs stuck to it, as well as chalk markings still on it from the construction of the building.

Breakfast: no eggs (on weekends), no sausages.

Posted Aug 23, 2017
After paying a great deal for a room, we were charged extra for parking, and the breakfast was pitiful. Tons of bread (like 10 different kinds), no eggs (on weekends), no sausages. They say it's a hotel for business people, so I guess that only business people get eggs (during weekdays, but not during weekends). Weird mentality. The rest was OK. Very clean. Walking around that lake (Lac de Nations), next to the hotel, is definitely very nice. Also don't miss that boardwalk like path going North on the left side (West side) of Magog River. Go beyond both waterfalls, all the way till close to "Les Grandes Fourches". There is a missing piece, so use the street (Rue Frontenac) on the right side (East side) of the river, to connect to the last portion of the hike. Absolutely beautiful. It's very rare to find such a hike in the middle of a city.

Very nice hotel. Right in the heart of the city. Close to the main street. Very nice restaurants nearby. Great terrace in the back.

Location is good but everything is dark and gloomy. Rooms are dark and miserable.

The hotel is contemporary and clean. It has great view of the lake but breakfast is very limited. We saw fireworks from our bed

Reserved a room online with 2 beds. Wanted to change for one with one bed. They changed it no problem and even had a room with view on lake... I would go back for sure!

Great except for breakfast

Great location, fun trendy décor, friendly personnel, comfortable room, great view of the lake from the bar area. The only thing that clashes with a place that wants to be a little more upscale is the breakfast. Limited self-serve continental breakfast with plastic utensils and paper plates, bowls and cups. Cappuccino is also extra, which is just a little annoying. And the martinis are tiny.
