Quirky!Posted Sep 7, 2017
Cons: Some redecorating would be good.
Location: Fairly isolated but easy access to main roads, motorways and nearby RAF Cosford.
Started life as a pub with the court house held in one of the barns. Now a quirky hotel come wedding venue. Interesting bedrooms, some four poster beds, breakfast in the bar area, strange to see the juice and cereals on the bar with beer pumps! Staff great and helpful. Overall, could do with some TLC but this did not detract or impact on our stay.

Unusual rooms full of character.Posted May 20, 2017
We stayed 4 nights at this quirky Inn having stayed previously 20 years ago. The rooms are full of character and charm. (Ours had a swing in it!) The bathroom was lovely with a free standing bath. Food was excellent and all staff were very friendly. There is a magical garden from where ingredients for the kitchen are grown as well as flowers and statutory, and guests are free to wander through it. The Hundred House is ideally situated not far from Ironbridge and all the industrial heritage museums. We would highly recommend it if you prefer staying somewhere individual.

Very good experiencePosted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: Staff, location, quality of accommodation and - particularly - the cuisine. Also the lovely gardens.
Cons: Nothing. It's a perfect inn.
Location: Much Wenlock is a gorgeous town. Ironbridge is a must-visit.
Loved the Hundred House. It's everything an English inn should be - comfortable, well appointed and cosy. Staff excellent. First rate restaurant. Highly recommended.
Excellent Time at The HundredPosted Mar 19, 2017 on Hotels
We stayed at The Hundred House after visiting relations nearby. The quirky individual style of the inside & the gardens suited us down to the ground. The staff were bright effective & enthusiastic but informal. Another plus in our opinion. Our meal in the evening was first class and overall we thought it good value for money. The hotel would not appeal to those who need straight lines, straight lace & formality. For those who care for a touch of eccentricity & the feel of traditional hospitality this place is a winner. Best bit? The Garden Swing (yes Garden Swing - not the other type) in our room.

Food was excellent, well presented and delicious. Breakfast highly recommended. Staff friendly and helpful Room a bit cramped but there were other superior rooms which would probably have been larger, ours was a standard double. Bottled water and a selection of toiletries, sewing kit etc a nice touch.
