"We stayed in Kenya (Nairobi, Mombasa, Diani Beach-2 hotels) for over 2 weeks and this is by far the highlight of our trip! We will definitely be back sometime over the next few months. The location, the ambiance, the designs, the rooms, the cleanliness, the beach, the location of the beach which is an open beach a few meters away from a social game and sports area, the food and again the food, the service and most importantly, the PEOPLE made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had. There are many restaurants in Diani but the food was so good that we would just keep coming back (sometimes after our first restaurant reservation elsewhere). The people there were fabulous (especially Stalix, Ibrahim and the managers are all dedicated to service you). Thank you we will be back!"

"This Hotel certainly has its positive points. It is beautiful, well located, and has some magical attractions, such as a huge and ancient Boabab tree on the property. That being said, although it has good bones, it suffers from poor service and lack of maintenance. Staff is not well trained. I came to my room being left wide open all day by housekeeping, even after having reported a faulty latch, which was never fixed. I found ripped paintings in rooms, sick cats on the property who are in desperate need of veterinary help. Food is bland and not diverse. Lots of flies around. Staff do not know what of the food is vegetarian and what is not. Beach is horrible. You cannot step our without 5 or 6 vendors following you. They are beyond persitant. They will in fact peer into the hotel itself and try to sell you a coconut, or a boat, or a ride, while you are at the pool. It is not restful and very invasive. If you want a beach getaway, get away from this place. The beachboys will stalk you and will follow you and will watch you. Very creepy. There is extremely loud music from the hotel itself at night. Badly mixed, and with loud base. If you want to have a good nights rest, you might want to stay elsewhere. Basic etiquette among staff is lacking. I asked for a kettle in my room, and I was told if I booked a more expensive room, I might have got one. A very unnecessary comment to make, where a simple no, would have done the job. Overall: Not even a last resort."

"Pros: 1. Staff friendly and helpful. Cater to individual and group needs. Discrete. Great suggestions for drivers, restaurants, attractions etc 2. Beautiful clean home with AC and swimming pool. 3. Close to beach. Walking distance for most. 4. Wifi works 95% of time. Cons: 1. None except not as close to beach as i’d hoped. Recommendations: 1. Please have available a safety deposit box for passports, cash, documents, credit cards etc Summary: Yes i would stay here again. 4.9/5 stars."

"Way too many flying insects on, yes, on the food. Flies at the dessert stations...flies at the tables when eating. Hot tubs are accessible only when purchasing spa services. And the hot tubs were tiny, fits 2 only. I did not feel comfortable using the beach, too many unknowns approaching you. Insect, fruit flies in the rooms. Light switches are confusing."

"We had a fantastic time at Lantana Galu beach. The staff were amazing, helpful and warm. Our Villa was super clean, spacious and private. We loved relaxing on the veranda or inside. The beach was serene, not busy and the ocean water spectacular. My son enjoyed the pool daily as well. We loved the food, room service was also a great convenience. Taxi pickup and for getting around Diani was also great. A big thank you to all the hotel. We will definitely be back ! "

"A tranquil stay in beautiful surroundings. Excellent communal areas, easy access to good beach. High standard and good choice of food for half board. Good selection available for other meals if required. Reasonable prices for drinks. Convenient transfer back to local airstrip. A small, well appointed boutique hotel. Best of all, excellent staff and service."
