"Great tatami Room "
This is a review of the tatami rooms at the hotel. These rooms are located on the 4th and 5th floor of a five story building. There are 9 rooms on each floor. We were 2 families traveling together. Our 4th floor room had a large area for taking off shoes and a closet as we enter. This is where we ended up leaving our luggage. We had 4 luggages and there were still room to move around. A separate living space where the futon (Japanese bedding) were already setup when we checked in the evening. There's a separate seating area by the window (nothing to see). Bathroom was old but very clean. Separate sink, toilet and shower with tub. A refrigerator, kettle and setting for tea (no coffee maker). The bedding was soft and warm. However, the comforters were a little short for my 6' son and husband. In the morning, you can put the bedding in the closet and you have quite a bit of room to move around. We were too lazy and just shoved to the side. The other family had a room on the 5th floor. Their living room was larger but smaller front door area and toilet (so small your knee is up against the wall). They had enough room to set-up 5 futons. Traveling with small children, they were able to buy take-out dinner from the train station and enjoy them in the room. We highly recommend these rooms for families or anyone who wants to try living "Japanese style". It does require you to sit on the floor with no shoes- so be warned.

"tokyu stay gotanda for 6 nights in march 2015"
we stayed for 6 nights. the front desk staff were courteous. they allowed us early check in at 1pm instead of 3pm without additional charge. security was good since the elevators could not be accessed without your room card key. the room was clean, spacious, generously equipped (water kettle, microwave oven, stove, dishes, utensils, knife, washing machine, etc.) and quiet. although the bed sheets were not changed daily, this was not a problem for us. more important was that the trash was taken out daily. towels, bathroom tissue paper, and toothbrushes were replaced daily. but the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were not. free WIFI in the room was strong and reliable. breakfast at Jonathan's on the 2nd floor was filling; there were 8 sets to choose from, but we stuck mostly to the salmon set. we could have our fill of miso soup, several kinds of teas, coffee, juice and even soda. in the lobby, there was free coffee, free tea bags and free amenities (hairbrush, razor, cotton buds, etc.). there was also a desktop with internet connection, which was a great help. they have a 24 hour front desk so early check out before 6am was a breeze. the luggage scale, also in the lobby, was invaluable.

"Incredibly convenient location"
I've stayed here four times and I've always been pleased, but this time it was even better because they've renovated the Annex Tower, or at least the room we were in so everything was nice and fresh...it didn't used to be that way. It's still on the small side but average for Japanese hotels.
