Shinchi Vacation Packages
Tokyo, the national capital, is located 170 miles (274 kilometers) southwest of Shinchi.
The region is very popular with tourists. To find out why visit the other villages, towns and cities in the vicinity of Shinchi. Natori and Zao are just two of the many other places worth checking out while you're in Fukushima.
About 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the north of Shinchi is Sendai, an important regional center where you'll find Miyagi Stadium, Sendai Stadium and Tohoku University. Miyagi Baseball Stadium, Sendai City Museum and Aoba Castle (Sendai Castle) are just a sample of the other interesting attractions in Sendai.
Memorizing a little Japanese can be the difference between a simple vacation and a rewarding journey into the very heart the Fukushima region. One example of a handy Japanese phrase is "Isshoni odorimasenka?" (Would you like to dance with me?). "Benjo wa doko desu ka?" ("Where's the toilet?") is also helpful.
Don't forget, if you are planning to be in Shinchi around the 23rd of December, Birthday of Emperor Akihito is celebrated then and some places may have irregular opening hours.
As your sojourn comes to an end, you'll be sure to bid Shinchi a sad "Sayōnara"
