Nice, clean, modern hotel located very conveniently next to the station. Shinjuku town centre is also a short walk away. Room was a little cosy but the staff were very friendly and I would definately recommend to anyone.

Good Experience

Close to Station. With a lot of good options to you, restaurants, convenience store. Only critics is about Wi-fi Connection. Sometimes your Connection are down and inside the Room, specially in the bed, doesn't work. But it's good to people wants to goes to Tokyo paying a short price.

The room was exactly like the photo. The room is indeed very small, but that is normal of hotels in Tokyo. Location is convenient: right next to two subway lines and walkable distance from a larger station.

Compact hotel, very close to subway

Posted Dec 15, 2017
Pros: convenient transportation
Cons: the air-condition and heater works too strong (even though I decreased the temp to 21 c) so that I need to turned it off while sleeping.
Location: travel around Shinjuku area
nice and compact hotel, close to subway station, convenient store, restaurant

The hotel is convenient but a lot of negatives to consider: No AC - so you have to open your window and deal with the loud noises outside Extremely small room - I know that this is a norm but I have stayed at hotels with similar rate in this area and this is was so small... Only one elevator

Good value

Posted Nov 26, 2017
The rooms and bathrooms are tiny. However, it's a great price, great location and easy access to the subway stations, the hotel staff speaks English and is extremely friendly. Overall, my only complaint would be the size of the room. But it's Tokyo. So great value. Would stay here again.

Friendly, Clean, Great Location

Posted Nov 13, 2017
My overall experience was great. The only grievance that I would have would be to not purchase breakfast as everyday the meal was the same it needed more variety and that could just be my opinion as I remained at the hotel for 13 nights

Horrible experience

Posted Oct 23, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Location: Location is ok
I should start with hotel staff those who are unhelpful and rude. I have stayed there for 7 nights I told the staff that I want to drop the key and my laptop with them. They did not get what I mean and they talked to me so rude (I have the staff name). Moreover, my room was not provided water for 3 days I asked the staff I did not get the answer evermore staff told me to bring the water and they did not. Furthermore, the last night of my saying there was the room was so hot and ask the staff to turn the air condition on the answer from staff was they could not help to get it cool and they recommend to open the window. This is so disappointed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Metro-Accessible, Quiet, Clean, Courteous

Posted Oct 22, 2017
Spectacular hotels are by no means in short supply around Tokyo's renowned Shinjuku Ward (Shinjuku-ku). It's location in the heart of Tokyo makes Shinjuku one of the priciest districts in the country, if not the world. Luckily, you can do upscale on a budget by staying at the modern APA Hotel in Higashi Shinjuku Ekimae (East Shinjuku Station). The exceptionally clean hotel is characteristically small, but I'm certainly not complaining, only will have to bring a smaller suitcase, next time. :) Mine was a cozy, nonsmoking room on the sixth floor. People, who gripe about the APA hotel's lsmaller-than-average floorplan or have issues with the hard-surface beds only need to remember that a feather-soft pillow isn't everything. The APA Hotel's staff is courteous to the hilt (not just by stereotypical standards of utter politeness): Everyone is ready with assistance and recommendations. If you speak even a smidgen of Japanese, you're in good hands! The hotel, itself, is within walking distance of East Shinjuku metro, which you can take to the revered Meiji Jingu. Transfer over to the JR (Japan Rail) to visit Shinjuku, Shibuya, Takadanobaba, and more. Stick around on the metro and switch to any of the following: the Ginza Line for an incredible shopping experience, the Hibiya Line for more local neighborhoods, and more. A smorgasbord of authentic restaurants and stores (including the ever-fabulous kombinis) is a hop, skip, and a cross from the APA Hotel. Love it, love it, love it!
