My family and I stayed at the Hilton Memorial Day weekend. Our room was beautiful, we booked a suite. The food and service at the restaurant, bar and pool were terrific! There were problems though... Some big and some small. The tennis courts weren't available due to construction, which was very disappointing, considering that we enjoy playing and brought our racquets. The other disappointment was that the pool was closed all day, until 3pm. This didn't make any sense. It was overcast all day but warm. It rained at 8am and then stopped.
The terrible thing that happened which will ensure that we never stay at this hotel again is the way I was treated by a front desk clerk named Damien. When I complained about the pool bring closed on Memorial Day coupled with the tennis courts being unavailable, he started talking over me and fighting with me in the lobby. Guests were looking as he kept fighting with me. It was horrible. I asked the manager, who I was speaking to to have Damien stop speaking to me but he didn't. It was the worst experience. Damien should be fired.
