I did not like paying an extra fee for potentail use of amenities that were out of order(hot tub). Bathroom lights that did not work and tears in the hall carpet that I tripped over. And when asking the desk about extra fees they said the bar was open and that was amenity we could use.

Clean, nice location. Bar was closed first night we were there so that wasn’t great. Sauna was out of order. But breakfast was good even though the pancake machine was out of order. I’d stay again for a quick stay.

Our 4 bed pillows were too hard and at least 6 inches high. My husband and I could not sleep on them. We've traveled in hotels throughout America and other countries and this has never occurred. The next day the young man at the front desk said he would ask housekeeping if other pillows were available. He called me later to tell me different pillows had been placed in our room. He was very polite and cared about our comfort.
Also, toilet was leaking in our bathroom. There was a stain where the water dripped, so it had been leaking for at least a few weeks or longer.
Pool and pool area was very relaxing and our grandchildren loved it. We were able to hang out and just relax.
Breakfast and guest service was great.
We stayed for 2 nights and noticed that dining area and adjoining bar area seemed to be a good place to sit and relax.
Would like to suggest crackers be an item available for purchase. Even plain soda crackers.

I didn’t get to stay and they wouldn’t refund me. I was traveling from Albuquerque NM to Chandler AZ. It started snowing like crazy from Gallup to Holbrook I didn’t want to continue the drive as it was 9pm and I had my 2 kids with me. I called the hotel, the receptionist was rude as I told her we wouldn’t make it. She said I had to call Expedia and hung up. I called Expedia and they told me the Hotel wouldn’t refund my money because the roads were drivable.
I lost out on $100 because I didn’t want to risk the lives of myself and my kids to drive another 2hrs to pinetop to have the room for the night.
Horrible service!

Arilynn, I am not sure who you spoke with however on prepaid reservations through third parties if there are road closures we always give back the money, I am sorry that this happened to you and you couldn't make it to the hotel, I will say that when someone needs to cancel I usually get an email to help a guest and Expedia did not send one to me. My front desk can not cancel third party reservations. Great property however the customer service needs improvement. The interaction at check in was easy in simple but the management team was rude when I asked for a later check out.

Mr. Cooley, I am not sure how you were stating that I as management was rude when I was not even on property this week until late Friday night as I was away all week for a hospitality conference. I am sorry that you felt like someone was rude and not accommodating for a late checkout. Our early check ins and late check outs are not guaranteed as it depends on the occupancy each night if we can honor these at all and with late check outs my front desk knows that they have to check with the head housekeeper and then judge how long our ladies will be working that day before we can even do this. Our first night was good. The second left something to be desired. It sounded like there was a pony above us, loud voices, doors loudly being knocked on, barking dogs and the trash being picked up at 4:30 in the morning.

Property was clean and quiet. Found a great price on Expedia for a quick 2 night trip. Property is right next to a Circle K and a couple fast food restaurants.

The room was in disrepair so they gave me a different room. The second room was worse.
I left after the first night.
The wall heater was so load and kept waking me!

We've stayed at a couple hotels in Pinetop-Lakeside, and this place, by far, is the best. It's extremely clean and inviting. They have a small bar with great beer on tap. Breakfast was great. We'll be staying here every time from now on.

Pinetop get away
Staff is amazing, breakfast was good and super convenient to everything we needed.
Only bummer is the spa and pool were shut down by the fire department for safety issues. Hope they fix it soon as we will be back.

We do not charge 10 for parking, it is a resort fee and yes if you become a GreenTree loyalty member it is waived and you also get a free voucher for the market or lounge.

Front desk staff at check-in was not well trained

Early morning we requested an upper story room due to having a newborn traveling with us and we’re told it wasn’t promised. We checked in and they gave us bottom floor next to the “new years party area” COMPLETE OPPOSITE of our asking. I wasn’t allowed to check in until after 4. I was told 3pm and tried to check in and instead got sent away due to rooms “not being done” so we had to find something to do with our newborn and anxious toddler. 1130pm there was so much noise and my wife called check in asking for any possible way to change rooms due to our newborn being unable to sleep. My wife said we requested this morning an upstairs due to our kids and being new years we knew it would be too loud downstairs. The lady said “you talked to me this morning about a room I’m the general manager” well why couldn’t you accommodate? Luckily someone didn’t show up so we got a suite but we should’ve been accommodated from the beginning.

Breakfast service has been very bad, everything else is execellent, the breakfast has disapoonted me as there were no options during my stay even asking the personnel to refill as the breakfast options were over 1 hour before the breakfast time ends - Lori has been an excellent host at the front desk but Melissa has been bad at serving the breakfast options
