Not so comfy

Customer service sucked. Could not understand a word he said. Didn't tell me where my room was. Didn't even greet me or say thank you when I checked out. Vey disappointed in front desk service. Also l, There's only two entrances to get to my room on third floor. Can't there be a third one in middle of hotel?? The hotel, should be more of a motel instead. Decorator needed to fired after the first room done. Bed not so comfy. A 1980's shower too. The carpets throughout hotel needs to be shampooed. I paid the same amount for two night stay at Fairfelid Inn once and their hotel was top notch. I will not stay here again and not recommend to anyone.

Bed & pillows comfortable & bathroom spacious. Very clean, except. carpet needs cleaning. Quiet location. Good breakfast items and area.

Decent Stay

I stayed at the hotel for a couple days. It was decent for the price I paid, considering that the cheaper hotels in the area looked iffy. The room was clean and the housekeeper did a good job (although she did forget to refill the tissue box). I couldn't hear the people in the rooms next to mine, but you can definitely hear everything that goes on outside in the hallway (especially when children are running down it). The free breakfast was a bit better than the typical super 8 breakfasts with an added waffle maker station, eggs, and on sunday there was biscuits and gravy. The only disappointing thing was that the biscuits and gravy is not offered daily (I assumed it's a weekend breakfast item). The pool wasn't very spectacular but it was enough to allow my son to burn off some extra energy. Overall, it was a decent stay and I didn't find anything to really complain about the hotel. I would recommend parking your car near the entrance, though! I'm not sure if it's a regular occurrence for Show Low, but I did hear about someone's truck being broken into one of the nights I stayed at the hotel. Thankfully, it wasn't my own car, but you can't be too careful these days. But that's not a complaint toward the hotel, but rather at the town itself. I noticed the area has a lot of hitchhikers, or "hippies" as someone told me, as if I'd be more inclined to give him a ride with my son in the car. Be wary that some of them seemed really pushy about getting rides.

Front desk was not helpful at all. We were handed our room key and that was it. Another gentleman stepped in to tell us where the elevators were, what our room number was, how to get in wifi, etc. The room was extremely dated. Toilet wouldn't flush without holding the handle down. Tissue and toilet paper are less than 1-ply. Just not a good experience at all.

Room was clean but the parking lot trash was left there for our whole stay. Disappointed with the breakfast, esp the way the waffles fell appart. The indoor pool was too cold. People would try to get in then run to hot tub.
