The need for a handicap accessible room.

Pros: Location
Cons: They have put me in that hearing impaired room 6 of the 8 times I have stayed at that particular location. Do they get extra points or something??
We booked a handicap accessible room. My husband has 4th stage renal cell and had a hip replacement and 9 inches of his femur removed 8 wks. ago. He cannot lift his leg over the side of a tub. We requested room with walk in shower and we booked it that way. Comfort Inn tells us upon arrival they only receive notice of booking from expedia, not the request for handicap room and they only have 1 room with walk in shower and it was not available. They put us in a hearing impaired room, IDIOTS. When I asked for franchise owner information, manager blamed everything on expedia, would not give me contact infor. and made no effort to make us happy. My husband had to attend a family funeral without being able to take a shower.

I am very sorry for the issue you experienced while staying with us. Your reservation was made outside of our hotel; through a third party. We have no control over what is booked through a third party. Our Assistant General Manager did everything in his power to take care of your needs. The only type of room we have with a row in shower is a SNQQ - a double; which was already taken before you came to stay with us. We do not have a king with a walk in shower. I would suggest requesting this type of room when you make a reservation on a third party site or you can call our hotel directly. We will be more than happy to center our knowledge and ensure you are in the room type you need. Again, we are deeply sorry.

Pleasant Hotel

Pros: overall it is a very pleasant, comfortable hotel.
Cons: The bathroom floor could be improved. Corners and edges are important in making the floor look cleaner.
Location: There is a nice choice of restaurants that are close enough to walk to. We only had an overnight stay. We used the restaurants only.
Hotel Staff made our stay very pleasant. Room is very nicely laid out with a comfy sitting area. Nice kitchen area cupboard top. Quiet hotel.

Hotel was clean check in experience was bad

The hotel is clean and in a quiet area however there were a couple problems I had while staying there first was the front desk I told. the lady I made a reservation through hotels.com and already paid for the room and she said OK but she would still need a credit card for incidentals and she ended up charging my card the cost of 1 night after I had paid already the next problem was I was sleeping and at 930am thy didn't knock on the door or nothing and I forgot to lock the door and they woke me up to clean the room I chased them out told them to come back at 11am checkout time the last problem was the WIFI it didn't work well for me very slow in my room.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

The bathroom had a musty odor but was tolerable. I notice one evening, there was a very distinct smell in the hall that, I would guess, was marijuana. Check out was at 11:00 am and beginning at 9:45 they knocked loudly on the door, trying to clean the room. My 5 month old infant was currently taking a nap and there was a "do not disturb" sign on the door, but that didn't seem to do anything. She said she would come back later. At 10:15 am, housekeeping came into the room, without knocking. I told them, again, we would be here until check out. At 10:45, they came into the room and asked us if we were checking out. I said yes, but not until check out. After we were finally out, I received a call from the front desk stating they were charging my card $150.00 for smoking in the room. Neither I nor my wife is a smoker so I'm still confused as to where this accusation came from. Perhaps from one of the many rude, annoying hotel maids, whom I notice several times that morning smoking right out front of the hotel. I argued with the front desk clerk who said she would have the manager call me right back. 30 minutes later, I called back and spoke with the front desk manager. She told me she would have to the manager, Tony, call me back in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, she called me back explained that she went to the room and could not smell any smoke or see any residue of smoking and would return the $150.00 fee that my card was charged.

Great property for the price - should be 3 star

Pros: Room size, location, free breakfast and wifi
Cons: Ice Makers were out of ice the last 2 days.
Location: Nearby - nothing fancy near by food wise but there is an IHOP(next door) and Cracker Barrel 3 min drive plus assorted fast food places.
Room - clean and spacious. Sitting area was nice and sink/fridge/microwave convenient for food leftovers or snacks. Bed was comfortable but closet area was very small(good enough for 2 if you don't have a lot of clothes to hang up). Needs a bigger tv but that is just a preference. Staff extremely nice and breakfast was ok (included so can't complain) Easy on/off Interstate so was convenient to get around including to the casinos
