Great hotel; terrible taxi accessibility

Stayed here during a wedding and the room was great for the price. Very clean and the cleaning staff were great. The complimentary water, coffee, and hot choclate was a particularly nice touch for such a reasonably priced hotel. I took a lot off from the overall rating because of how difficult it was to get around. Waiting 30 minutes for a taxi was the norm (longer at times) and this is an AIRPORT hotel--guests have places to be. The front desk, while friendly and helpful in every other respect, was very indifferent to the taxi situation. This hotel should be lobbying the city to get services like Uber if the taxi companies aren't going to step up. I was waiting 30+ minutes to get a cab for a 10 minute ride that cost $20; it's not a good experience and actually discentivizes non-essential explorations of downtown Shreveport. Maybe some would say it's not fair to hold a hotel accountable for taxi service, or lack thereof, but I would argue that it's a fairly common thing to request the front desk order you a taxi and especially for a hotel airport they should have an interest in making their hotel a place where you can get a ride out of without too much difficulty.

Shower

Room was clean but the shower was terrible. No water pressure and the temperature would change from cool to scalding in a half second.

The bed was horrible. Major depression in the center. I could not sleep 9not tossing and turning trying to get comfortable.

Everything was great. The room was very nice and clean and that was a 5 star to me. For the complimentary breakfast I thought they could have had some bacon or sausage on the buffet. They had the gravy with the sausage pieces in it. But everything was good. I will be booking again in the future.

Breakfast was great and they worked with us to have a late check-out due to our running a half-marathon on the morning of our check-out. Very nice staff members. Nice room.

close to airport and clean hotel

This was a last minute thing after to flight cancelled because of the weather in TX...I was upset, tired and just wanted to get a quick bit of food and relax. thanks to hotels.com and the Hampton inn airport I was able to do just that. a few eateries close by and thank you for helping me to be able to get some food and relax.

Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, big space, very clean. I was pleased with my stay.
