Okay stay

I read several reviews for this hotel, so I was willing to give the hotel a try. My boyfriend and I visited this hotel on a trip for the weekend. The staff was okay. The breakfast was good. Our bed had dark stains in the comforter, and most of the light bulbs in the kitchen were out. I cooked in the room's kitchen, so it was difficult to cook with minimal light. Noisy guests on a higher floor were a nuisance. Although I did not completely enjoy my stay, I would like to give the hotel another try. The weekend price was a great deal.

We stopped at the Shreveport Homewood Suites and as always the room was spacious, the light evening food was excellent and so filling we did not go out for dinner. That saved us from looking for a place and driving around trying to find it. The breakfasts are my favorite. The staff was so friendly when we checked in and I spoke with them several more times before we left and everyone, even the cleaning staff, was courteous and helpful.

Homewood Suites High Five!

Fantastic! I travel alot & i would recommend homewood suites! Also anything by hilton, they are the solution for the customer needs! I rate them a (A-) could of been a (A+) but finding parking is tough.

Amazing!!!

My stay was nothing short of amazing! The room was clean and very spacious. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was amazing! The bed was very clean and comfortable. I definitely plan on staying here again!

I was under the impression that the king suite would have a jetted tub, like in Longview and other cities...and they gave me a room with no tub at all and I was about to leave and go somewhere else when they gave me a room with a tub. Bed was too small to be a King.

Unfortunately, Homewood Suites as a brand does not have jetted tubs, but we do however, require King size mattresses. Our studio suite is the only room type with a shower only, so I am happy to hear our staff was able to upgrade you to a 1BR King Suite to accommodate your bathtub request. Excellent Hotel for the price.

Pros: Everything. Staff is very helpful and professional. Free parking and ease entry into the hotel at late hours.
Cons: The sitting area could be larger. That's just a personal preference. The space is adequate for most guest.
Location: Located near the expressway allows guest to quickly travel to main attractions in Shreveport. Guest are only minutes away from shopping centers.
Location is excellent. Near the airport and located near an interstate expressway which makes it easy to get around in the city. I love the "free" breakfast the hotel provides. The food is good.
