I’ve stayed here before but am sad to say it’s not the same. They used to have a buffet and now all the have is overpriced limited dining choices and zero room service meals. I stayed 2 nights and each morning the cleaning service were very loud in the hallways and banging and loud moving of furniture at 8am. Checkout is 11am so why disturb your guests so early in the morning? Hallways smelled like pot smoke as if there was smoking in the hallways and it lingered for hours.
My room was non smoking but still smelled like smoke… the whole place is just dingy and outdated. It gives a very “trashy casino” vibe. The bed sheets were scratchy, the tv was old, seemed very motel-ish even though it’s a huge hotel.
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience here friendly staff and gorgeous room with a huge tub! I definitely recommend.

The dining options are pretty good. The lobby and common areas are really nice. The rooms are really out dated. Think 80’s-90’s era maybe. Several things in our room were broken or not working. Time for a room remodel for sure.

The hotel does not offer daily maid service and requesting it appeared to be an inconvenience. The front desk staff is borderline rude and usually indifferent to your presence. In addition when I needed assistance logging into the hotel WiFi I was directed to Ceasar’s help desk, which seemed unduly cumbersome. The property is beginning to show some age but if you gamble it’s still a decent place to stay.

Had no trash can in my bathroom or anywhere and I needed a trash can out all the days… we had no towels.. no big ones just a couple wash clothes and a hand towel very inconvenient when u can’t just run down and get a towel
The property was nice and clean, it looks a bit older but in good condition for the most part. The staff when checking in were not very friendly but they were quick and efficient.
The photo of the fitness facility on Expedia is NOTHING like the actual facility. It had a few cardio machines and dumbbells and that was pretty much it. There were crumbs on my bed, and I didn't realize until I was about to jump in the shower that there were no bath towels in my room. I had to use the two hand towels.
The room was disgusting and needed lots of updating! We had 2 queen beds both were higher on the foot end making your head lay low. The floors were dirty with hair and dust in the corners. No trash can. The refrigerator was wobbling everywhere when you tried to open it and the main plug in the restroom didn't work. The casino was still nice. It was clean and well kept. I will not be staying here again though until they have some major repairs and remodeling of rooms. Ive stayed at Horseshoe for years and have never had this problem until recently. Hopefully, management will get this problem fixed. Especially for how much you pay per night!
