Disappointing for the price

Posted Jul 18, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Lots could be improved starting with the smell of mildew and noisy AC unit. How about cleaning out the bathtub drain?
So many things wrong: AC very noisy and didn't cut the humidity. Cutting on and off kept me awake. Carpet was ripped where seams came together. Bathtube had either a cigarette burn or was chipped down to the black metal. Bathroom shelving under sink not even painted. Shower and tub did not drain well so you stood in 3 inches of water the entire time you showered. The room smelled of mildew. Dated paint and window coverings, grout in the tile dirty. The price was $150 per night and this seems like a rip-off.

Overbooked. No place to stay.

Posted Jul 18, 2017
The hotel overbooked and left many people without rooms. They offered no assistance in finding another place to stay.

DON'T waste your time

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: the towels
Cons: Fire all the employees and hire new ones. OR demolish the building and build a new Hampton Inn
This place is a dump. I travel a good bit and understand sometimes you just have a bad stay. Hopefully my disappointment will be my bad stay for 2017. The hotel front lobby was like a zombie party. No one was in charge and the two front desk people couldn't complete a sentence without the other one getting involved, on the radio, calling out to each other. It literally took me 7 minutes to get a room key from a prepaid reservation. The building is OLD and it smells it. Some room doors actually had duct tape sealing them off from the hall as if someone was dead inside the room :( We decided late to go to a concert in the area and this was the only place with vacancy other than the casinos which were outrageously priced. Another couple with us had to get the entire AC unit replaced in their room as it was just blowing hot air. The bar/lounge area had one guy working and appetizers took 20 minutes to get to us. One at a time another would come out every 5-10 minutes. The tonic water for my vodka was so old it wouldn't even fizz. A tree house would have been better....

Very dirty and outdated.

Posted May 6, 2017
I travel a lot so I'm not that picky, especially at low priced hotels, but I've never stayed in a hotel as run down and dirty as this. Dirty rags from the previous guest in the shower, random hairs in the bathroom and a small piece of trash that was on the floor when I checked in remained through three nights. The toilet didn't flush properly and I complained in the first day, never fixed. Just awful.

Toilet was dirty. Cosmetic issues abound. Horrible water pressure. Bed comfortable though.

The room was not the worst I have stayed in but it most definitely was not the best the bathroom was very tiny the bathtub was small and was peeling the place where the towels were at was nasty which made me question if they were even clean which leads to the next problem I went to the front desk and ask for two towels because I did not feel the one in the room to be clean and they never proved me with any towels

Front desk was very courteous. I called earlier in the day to verify that my reservation was confirmed as I knew hotel was overbooked. I didn't arrive till later in evening (past 8) and was exhausted. Got to my room and left out to grab a few things at the local store. When I returned to my room, I noticed my shower was dirty with a dead bug, dirty smudge of some sort, and someone else's hair. Knowing hotel was overbooked so just asking for another room wasn't an option--I went out to my truck and grabbed some cleaners. Seriously I cleaned my own shower. The counter top in the bathroom was stained with something--but just stained and cracked not dirty. I was ok to let shower go as oversight. I get the blankets turned down and go to toss my pillow on my bed--its not an eyelash--someones rather short curly hair. Gross. I have not stayed in a Wyndham that the rooms were kept like this before. I won't be staying in one again. This was just disgusting. If I didn't have an early morning conference the next day, I would've left. Conference room was well kept and nice though.
