Train track right outside my window. No sleep!

Location: Not to much I was on a business trip so did not have a lot of time to see anything. There were several places to eat & hotel is close to the freeway.
Average hotel, room and staff were nice enough but with trains running every hour all night made getting sleep a challenge. Hotel staff should warn guests about the train before giving them the room.

Pros: every one was real nice

Location: The location was good for us the interstate was right there
Every thing was good we were staying there for a wedding and stay 2 days

Very good stay. At this time hotel is being updated, so things are a bit seedy. Location, staff, pool, and rooms are nice. They have a great breakfast with something for all.

Needs remodeling

Great friendly staff but needs remodeling, carpets need either professional cleaned or replaced. The are stained and just don't look clean. We had problems with our first room they moved us to another room pn the top floor and in the am we had ants in a backpack. Not the little sugar ants either. Regular black ants that bite. They were using a grocery store shopping cart to move things around upstairs...not what I expected. We asked to check out and move to different place bc we had children with us and just didn't feel right staying there. There are shingles on the roof that have come loose and are just sitting up there still. The dumpster is right by the front lobby entrance and there was just a lot of clutter by the dumpster. They staff was very nice and helpful and they were very understanding about us changing hotels.

Pros: Bed
Cons: Mold by bathtub in grout cleaned.
Location: Close to 75.
The hotel is close to a train track. If you are a light sleeper this may not be a good thing. Confusion on registration with my Expedia confirmation. Overall experience was good.

Pros: Location was good (except for train tracks). Right off I-75. Restaurants nearby.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: Piqua is a nice scenic town on a pretty river.
This hotel does not live up to the condition, quality and service I have come to expect at La Quinta. We use this chain often because they are pet friendly. - unprofessional, abrupt attitude at check in. -staff hangs out in back room. Have to push a buzzer and wait for someone to come. -bare bones room. No pictures on walls. Damaged, old beat up furniture. -sheets with holes -thin walls- could hear people talking next door -train tracks behind hotel right outside our window. Lots of noise. -HBO not working on TV - No shampoo, conditioner or lotion. Only two bars of soap provided. - Breakfast was basic but okay

I want to apologize for the experience that you had during your recent stay. This is not the experience we want our guests to have. We are in the middle of renovating the hotel and some of the items are on back order from the supplier such as the bedding and room décor.

Short stay. Girl at check in obviously wanted to be elsewhere. Bed mattress was poor. Otherwise things were, well, adequate.
