Very disappointing

Posted Nov 5, 2016
Pros: Hard to say-really nothing, except for a coffee maker in the room. Of course, no creamer of any type. Pretty sad for this to be the only positive!
Cons: The room needs to be cleaned better., especially the bathroom! Breakfast buffet was scant and poor quality. Example- Fruit cup had strange taste.
Location: Only there as an overnight stay
We were only there for an overnight stay, but couldn't wait to get out of there. I was up way before the planned alarm (highly unusual for me), got ready far more quickly than usual, and got on the road. The state of the room was unsatisfactory. There is no luggage rack or anything at all on which to place a suitcase. The bed just didn't feel clean at all. The bathroom was really questionable. There was a dirty towel from a previous guest left hanging on the hook. The other towels were frayed and ragged. As far as nearby restaurants, it was only chains- McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and one more. When we asked at the desk, they mentioned an Italian restaurant a few miles down the road, but when we checked the online reviews, people mentioned getting sick and other negative aspects, so we opted not to try that. Breakfast buffet was poor, both in selection and quality. Pastries were only a packaged roll. No fresh fruit. Fruit cup had a strange taste. Only two cereal choices. Think we have stayed at a Super 8 before, but we'll be highly skeptical about doing so again.

The staff is nice but the hotel smells like cigarettes despite the no smoking signs on the room doors.

great

Not many choices in the area, and this hotel was great. Next to 24 hour Price Chopper supermarket which was great if you return late from work as its a rural area and not much for late night eats, etc. my only gripe was shower head and low water pressure. Will stay their again next year

Suspicious stains everywhere. The bathroom was disgusting. The floor in the bathroom was separated from the subfloor. The whole thing was completely outdated. I have spent the same amount of money on much cleaner and nicer hotels.

Decent hotel for what we needed.

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: The view and surrounding area were very pleasant
Cons: More water pressure for the showers
We had a problem with the room in the beginning. We had requested a non-smoking room and wound up with a smoking room. The hotel was able to correct the problem in a swift and courteous manner.

Very Nice for the Price

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort & price
Cons: NA
Location: There are a couple of restaurants & gas stations nearby.
I stayed here which was half way between home & Boston. It was easy to find & very clean. The room & bathroom was very clean. The towels were very soft for a budget hotel. I would stay here again. It's fairly new & everything works great. The hotel could use an upgrade with flat screen tvs. Breakfast was basic & the coffee was good. I wanted a clean, comfortable place to stay with breakfast the next morning...exactly what I got. I plan to stay here when my son returns to college this fall to break up the trip into two days.

Cigarette Smoke, Discomfort and Cold

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: No smoking allowed, replace the heating units, replace the mattresses and the pillows.
Location: Baseball Hall of Fame.
Upon entering the lobby all my wife and I could smell was cigarette smoke. When we arrived at our room we found it to be 50 degrees and no heat on. We turned the heater on and it sounded like a mini jet engine, and continued to sound this way all through the night turning on and off every 10 - 15 minutes, but not producing any heat. The room never made it above 60 degrees. The bed felt like we were sleeping on the floor because it was so hard and the pillows were as hard as a rock.
