Nice hotel close to most of the point of interests

Posted Jan 9, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness, close but not too close to Pub Street.
Cons: Internet speed and connectivity could be improved.
My stay was 9 days this time. Me and my son were picked up from the bus station by the hotel complimentary service in a clean and comfortable SUV. Did I mention that this was our 3rd time staying there? We got a spacious room, 2 beds, on the 5th floor overlooking the pool and the new Somadevi Boutique property behind it. The room was clean and all the appliances worked. The first thing I notice was the improved English and attentiveness of all the staffs relative to the first time we stayed there, could be a sign of continue training. When my son had problem with his internet connection, and the IT help desk was able to resolve it without too much difficulty. There's nightly cultural show with dinner by the pool for those who are interested in supplementing their temple visit with examples the intricate movements and gestures that you see carved on those ancient temples' walls in Siem Reap. To sample the different dishes from other parts of Asia, we spent many occasions shopping and dining at the many eateries around Pub Street, which is about 15min walk away. The rest of the time, I spent photographing numerous temples on the outing that I personally arranged.

Stayed for 4 nights over new years at this neatly set out hotel with friendly staff and good facilities, conveniently located within walking distance to city centre. The hotel has true Cambodian character.

Resort style hotel near to everything

Posted Jan 3, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Outdated rooms should be updated, walls are very thin, you could hear everything outside of your room.
Location: Its nearby Lucky Mall and all other nice shopping area and restaurants.
We arrived the hotel with a very warm welcome, front desk has sat us down at the lobby and explained to us their hotel facilities and even places of interest in Siem Reap. Rooms are spacious and clean but a bit old. Wifi wasnt working for the first 2 nights, then follow by TV wasn't working on one of the night. Breakfast is boring and limited selections. Overall, the hotel is ok, especially is near to all the shopping and restaurants.

An ideal venue for a weekend break in Siem Reap

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Convenience to centre. Outstanding staff and facilities
Cons: A little tired in some of the rooms. Would benefit from some decoration in places.
Location: Temples in abundance to explore; Siem Reap to experience with great dining / drinking venues; rivers & lakes to navigate; wonderful People to meet....

Comfortable room and kind staff

Posted Sep 28, 2016
Pros: The staff was so kind.
Cons: More various fruits for buffet breakfast
Location: It is located downtown where lots of restaurants and other convenient stores are.
I stayed here for two nights. My family stayed here about four years and they strongly recommended me to stay here. The quality was just as I was told. It was comfortable. The staff was kind enough to print out my boarding pass. The quality of buffet breakfast was 4 out 5 for the first day, and 3 out of 5 for the second day. For tour, I hired tuk-tuk for $17 through hotel. However, I would recommend that you hire any of them in the street. It doesn't need special skills to drive you to Angkor attractions. It would be better to give some more tips to the driver instead of giving it to the hotel. Just around the corner of the hotel, there is restaurant called Curry Walla, which is Indian and Cambodian restaurant. I liked curry there. There is a big supermarket there. I bought bread and yogurt for lunch for the tour. Wifi was fine. I hired tuk-tuk to go to the airport. There are lots of hotels around the entrance of Angkor Wat. I thought these might be noisy since most of them were groups of guided tour. I would stay here if I come back someday.

A Solid Choice

Posted Sep 24, 2016 on Hotels
We moved to this hotel after we decided to extend our stay in Siem Reap. We booked online, which got us the best rate, and received excellent value for money. The negatives were the slightly old decor, and the counter staff could not give even basic information about places we wanted to visit - opening times, travel options and prices. But these small problems were far outweighed by the positives - a very pleasant room with a balcony overlooking the pool, an extensive buffet and a huge pool area. With the discounted internet price, this was the best value hotel of our trip.

Great location yet lots of bugs.....

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: Location, location, location! Great and centralized location to everywhere!
I love the location of the hotel, closed to night market/pub street, temples, restaurants, etc. However, it is not an international 4 stars hotel, a national 4 stars instead.
