We were there during the start of the 2020 Coronavirus scare and they were very courteous, but also committed to keeping the guests safe with hand sanitizers at the entrance to the hotel and dining room, and a temperature check at check-in. I felt secure there.

The hotel itself was ok albeit dated and in need of updating, definitely not the 4.5 stars it claims. The first night the power went out 3 times. The biggest disappointment was the service as it claims to be a 4.5 star hotel. Repeated things such as not getting new shampoo, not getting a floor towel and having to request one the first day then having it taken away and not replaced, being offered a food and drink discount that we were told was on our file and to just mention our room number and then having them say repeatedly that we didn’t have one, being offered late checkout and then having our room key deactivated while we were at the gym. When contacting their management about the issue they would say that they were addressing it, yet each time there was something new. The only thing we enjoyed was the somewhat convenient location. It was a short walk to Pub Street, etc. So if looking for an ok place with a convenient location, then this will do, but don’t expect it to be at all a luxury experience, you will be disappointed and frustrated with it.

A true hidden gem!
There are LOTS of positives to this property ~ perfect location for eating out n visiting the museum, very quiet (our room was 4th floor n faced the pool), very comfortable room and an outstanding breakfast (hot n cold)! I have travelled the world and stayed at my share of properties. This was a hidden gem. Most definitely would recommend and/or stay here again.

Great jlocation and facilities
Great location and good hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very polite and accommodating. The hotel has the largest salt water pool in Siam Reap. Never swim in salt water pool? Must try! The water doesn't hurt the naked eyes and you don't have the after effects of chlorine after swimming. Wonderful. It also has a health room where you have hit pool and cold pool. Great relaxation for the family after a while day out looking at temples.

I have stayed at the Prince d'Angkor several times. I love the Kkmer influence of the interior design. The hotel is always impeccably clean and maintained beautifully. Everyone who works there is always very pleasant and accommodating. The location is excellent and although very convenient to the downtown area it is very quiet with beautiful garden and swimming pool.

Lovely hotel, variable service
Management did little to address complaints about loud, lewd behavior by group tour staying in hotel until we complained they were taking photos of our teen daughters in their swimsuits. Hotel, itself is otherwise beautiful.

Great hotel, loved our stay here.
Hotel was great, central location close to shops and entertainment. The rooms were clean and well serviced although as experienced in other hotels in Cambodia maybe lack draw space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a very well run hotel and a credit to all who work there. One of the best pools we’ve ever been in, clean, a sensible depth and beautiful surroundings. The Gym is well equipped with quality machines, a sauna and dip pool. Breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely recommend the Prince d’ Angkor to my friends and hopefully return one day myself.

Property, decor and location was great! Amenities were good too. The staff seemed inexperienced. The concierge/ tour desk seemed inefficient and couldn't answer our questions properly about the sites to see. Seemed they were more intent for us to book transportation with them, but it was cheaper if we asked outside. We were told we cannot check-in early cause nothing was available before 10/11am, but for a fee of $40 a room would surprising become available? The next day we asked for our breakfast to be packed clearly stating we were Vegetarians (cause we were leaving at 5am to watch the sunrise). We had pork and bacon sausages in our parcel. Not ideal. Never received our wake-up call the following morning either. All in all not a very well organised and poor service. The only downside to an otherwise amazing, beautiful town with great experiences. Absolutely recommend Siem Reap.

Location is convenient and local transportation is easily accessible outside the hotel. Staff is friendly and amenities are good. The cleanliness of the bathroom is marginally for a 5 star rated hotel. There was a pool side event in the evening. The noise was so loud with singing and announcement that we could hear through closed windows. We couldn't stay in our room. We reported the situation to the hotel (more than 10 guests did the same) but nothing were done by the hotel management. We had to wait until the event was over after 8:30pm before we went back to our room. Beware.

Nicest most helpful staff ever! Helped us find a pharmacy close by and called them for us. Front desk suggested a fabulous massage place Tours to avoid and places to see. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And a stunning hotel !

LOVED the POOL!
Hotel in great location, friendly staff, air conditioned rooms great reprieve from a heat we are not accustomed to, as was the pool. Highly recommend Siem Reap as a place to visit and the Prince d’Angkor as a place to stay!

Excursions
If you are booking your own driver beware of their rates and how the hotel staff intervenes. We had agreed with the driver for him to be our tour guide but as the hotel asked us to pay them the driver said there was no deal with him and he was no longer our guide so we were left without a guide. We did not know this until we arrived at Angkor Wat and were told to go in ourselves. We paid the full package but not the services received.

Beautiful hotel with a great location!!
The staff at this hotel were fabulous - especially Souen on the concierge desk! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, a 15 minute drive from the airport and under 10 minutes to walk up to Pub Street (or USD$1 for a tuk tuk - bargain!). The large pool and pool area was clean and peaceful (some maintenance works noise during the day but this wasn't too bothersome) and the breakfast had everything you could want (asian food + usual bacon, eggs, toast etc.) Will definitely be back to Siem Reap and will not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Lovely hotel
We stayed at the Prince for 4 nights in a Deluxe room. We highly recommend this hotel. The location is fabulous, only a 5-7 minute walk to Pub Street and the night market, with lots of restaurants, nail / massage salons and shopping in the nearby vicinity. The hotel itself is quite spacious. Our room was great, I recommend paying the extra to upgrade to the deluxe room as the balcony is a lovely addition to the room. The decor of the hotel is traditional Cambodian style and very quaint. The staff are lovely, always smiling and quick to respond to any requests for assistance. The pool is sensational, a great way to cool down after a long day trekking around the temples, and there is ample room for children to play as well as adults to luxuriate in the spa. There are also indoor spas, sauna and steam room in the gym area. Breakfast was ok, not fabulous, but a reasonable variety on offer and selections changing every second day. Our rate included a return airport transfer, which appears to be available only in the quieter seasons, but well worth getting if you can find it.
