Pros: Very helpful staff. Great location. Pool and massage are wonderful. Great breakfast give you the start to the day you need before sightseeing.
Cons: I liked everything about this hotel. I stayed 4 nights and would book it again.
Location: Walking distance to the night market and pub street. Always a Tuk Tuk in front of the hotel to take you on your sightseeing trips.

Ideal location and size

Posted Jun 15, 2016
I was drawn to this hotel when searching in Siem Reap because a) it's not a glitzy place highlighted by garish LED lighting, which seemed pretty common there, and b) it's located within easy walking distance to laundry and plenty of shops. Lots of the HUGE hotels appear to be designed for tour groups, and are located near other similar hotels, but not much else. The breakfast buffet was extremely extensive (western and Asian options, omelette bar, great variety of fruit, salad bar, sweets etc). Laundry within the hotel was very pricey, but there are places just across the street that will do it by the Kg. And once you've crossed the street, you can also pick up supplies at the mini-market. Also 1 minute walk to the crafts/souvenir market, and within easy walk to many many restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, updated bathroom fixtures, good wifi, all the bonus toiletries you seem to get in Cambodia/Vietnam at good hotels--no complaints! And if that's not enough, the price was very low, and they threw in a pick-up from the airport!

Great staff but not great facilities. It was good for the price but not amazing. Better than most but not the best by far. The small pools were nice. We rented multiple rooms for a Corperate retreat. This is a group review.

Short stay in Cambodia

The hotel is an average nice hotel. The staff are friendly and eager to help. It is very close to the night market and pub street. Tuktuks are readily available outside the hotel if you want to get out in Siem Reap. There is only 1 elevator so that can be slow sometimes but it's not that bad. The breakfast is ok. Pancakes, omlets, various breads and toast, cheeses and sliced meat are served buffet style. I wouldn't say I am blown away by the hotel but I do not really have any complaints either.

Enjoyable Experience.

Pros: The hotel was quiet and not too large to have too many people.
Location: Central to all Seim Reaps main attractions
The Royal Crown is a very good hotel ideally located close to the central part of Siem Reap. The suite we were given was large, bright and airy. The beds were comfortable with modern linen. The room was very clean including the bathroom. The only problem with the bathroom was a shower head that had little control. The staff were polite and always happy to help. Breakfast had a good selection and room service was excellent both in food standard and service.
