Beautiful property, stunning views and great breakfast... customer service leaves a lot to be desired... Highly recommend going to the restaurant next door at Casanuova for dinner... there you will find delicious food and wine as well as welcoming, friendly staff.

This is our second time staying at this agriturismo. We stayed several years ago and had a lovely room on the top floor; the room that was available this time was a lower level room that was quite basic and could use a little updating, but it was clean and comfortable. The grounds have a lovely view of San Gimignano. I wish breakfast was included with the base room price, as it was several years ago, but it is an affordable add on option.

Wonderful agriturismo near San Gimignano
We enjoyed a wonderful time at this agriturismo! The service from the family was warm and fantastic. Our room had a view of the rolling hills of Tuscany and San Gimignano to the side. Free breakfast was satisfying and filling. We had dinner onsite twice which were rustic and plentiful. Wine made onsite was reasonably priced. A higher-end restaurant Zefferano is walkable at the next door agriturismo and delicious. We were on the third floor where the internet connection was spotty, but it was fine in the lobby. We did not rent a car and we highly suggest that you have a car if you stay at an agriturismo since it is difficult to get to San Gimignano (roads not designed for walkers) or other towns without one. However, other guests were extremely friendly and drove us to town. Overall a fantastic place which we would gladly return to again!

San Gimignano Agriturismo
We stayed here as part of our tour through Tuscany. Although we wanted to visit San Gimignano, we knew that it would be packed with tourists and bus tours, so we wanted to find a place close enough to visit the town, but away from the hectic crowds. Agriturismo Il Casolare di Bucciano perfectly suited those needs; we had a lovely view of San Gimignano from the grounds. Our GPS had trouble finding this place, because it is a rural address, but the personal connection always seems to work - a neighboring hotel owner directed us right to the Agriturismo. Such a countryside oasis! Breakfast was delicious, and the hostess was delightful.

Beautiful Agritourismo within view of San Giminano
My wife and I stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to the Tuscany region. Beautiful location in hills within view of San Giminano. Within minutes of town by car. Good parking on site. Grounds are nice and well maintained. The pool is large and although it was a bit cool for us to utilize it I look forward to going back and spending some time by the pool on our next visit. we had dinner one night at the hotel. Very good food home made by the family. Their wine was also quite nice. Breakfasts were great. We used this location as a central point to explore the Tuscany region, taking car trips to other local towns during the day. This place was a highlight of our 2 week Italian vacation and we intend to return! The only small thing is that it would have been good to get more information regarding the wine and olive oil products they produce as well as info about their farm. I think there was a bit of a language barrier as we don't speak Italian and their English is not strong.

Great base for exploring Tuscany
The food for breakfast and dinner are both delicious and good quality, the staff is friendly, excellent location for a base for traveling and exploring Tuscany. Save touring the town for the evening when the tour groups leave... the town is magical at night.

Over the top. Great location and view.
We stayed five nights and did day trips throughout Tuscany. It is a great location to base at for this itinerary. We had dinner at Casolare di Bucciano 4 of the nights. Great meals, great family. The views over the vineyard and olive grove are spectacular. Open a bottle of their wine, sit by the pool and take it in. Room had all modern conveniences and wifi.

Hotel was pleasant although there was a slight leak from toilet. Room was rustic with basic bed and wardrobe. Breakfast was ok, no veggies, only bread and meat with some fruit and jams. Surroundings were beautiful, olive groves as well as fruit trees and great scenery and views of San Gimignano. Owners were nice and friendly and happy to let us drink our own wine and eat our food in the garden by the pool. Therevown wine was ok, white was best for us and we took some with us home. Overall a relaxing stay and glad we went to this part of Tuscany. If I had to critique anything, I would like to have had a cooler or fridge in the room for our wine and cheeses etc. Otherwise a nice place to stay for a short getaway.

Quiet retreat
Nice location with a great view of San Gimignano from the pool side. Friendly hosts and very helpful. You can even walk around the Olive grove. Will stay again!

This agriturismo is set in a stunning location, with beautiful views of San Gimignano. Rooms were clean and decorated in very traditional style. Breakfast we found to be basic, improvement in this area would have added to the enjoyment of our stay. The surrounding area of the pool was a little rough around the edges, but I think this is a normal thing for an agriturismo . You have to remember that you are not staying in a 4 star hotel. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

We were given room number 1 and the view was probably one of the best I've had in a hotel room with a view of San Gimignano and the surrounding area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hier kann man es sich gut gehen lassen!
Der Aufenthalt im Agriturismo hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Tagsüber kann man Wanderungen unternehmen, hier gibt es Zugang zu schönen Wegen direkt an der Unterkunft. Im August wurde es wie erwartet tagsüber ziemlich heiß, wir haben jedoch die kühle Luft am Abend unterschätzt. Beim Abendessen wurde es ziemlich windig, wofür wir nicht ausreichend gepackt hatten. Daher würde ich empfehlen, möglichst winddichte, wärmere Pullover für den Abend mitzubringen. Auch der Pool war trotz sonniger Lage recht kühl (auch im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften auf unserer Rundreise). Die Aussicht von der Terrasse und dem Pool ist traumhaft. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, von meiner Seite aus hätte es noch etwas mehr frisches Obst geben dürfen. Insgesamt entstand der Eindruck, dass alles, was es gab, qualitativ hochwertig war. Das absolute Highlight war auch für uns das Abendessen. Hier gab es vier Gänge für pro Person 30-35€ (genauer Preis ist mir entfallen). Wir haben das Essen jeden Tag genutzt, da es absolut erstklassig war. Wir hatten bereits hohe Erwartungen aufgrund der Bewertungen und wurden dennoch positiv überrascht. Insgesamt würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt im umgebauten Weingut
Eine wundervolle Woche im Herbst verbrachten wir in dieser Unterkunft. Unbedingt probieren sollte man den Bio-Wein und das 4 Gänge Abendessen. Der Ausblick von der Terasse auf San Gimignano am Abend war wundervoll. Die Zimmer des renovierten Weingutes waren sauber und modern ausgestattet. Der Service sehr familiär. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebeung. Wir würden sofort wieder dort übernacht. Kritikpunkte fallen uns wirklich keine ein.

Bereits mit dem Check-In hat der wundervolle und erholsame Urlaub begonnen. Sämtliche Mitarbeitenden sind von einem so ungemein gastfreundlichen und hilfsbereiten Auftreten geprägt, dass jeder einzelne Augenblick des Aufenthaltes eine Wohltat darstellte. Wir haben im Laufe unseres Lebens viele verschiedene Unterkünfte kennenlernen können, zählen diese aber uneingeschränkt zu den besten. Wenngleich es nicht um Luxus geht, erfüllt diese Unterkunft alle Erwartungen. Stellvertretend sei nur erwähnt, dass uns trotz der vergleichsweise späten Ankunft (18.30 Uhr) ohne Weiteres ein köstliches Abendbrot bereitet wurde. Da sind wir bereits beim nächsten Pluspunkt: die Abendessen (25,-- Euro/Person) sind nicht nur reichhaltig, sondern schlicht unglaublich gut! Entsprechendes gilt für die angebotenen Weine! Allein das Frühstück bewegt sich auf italienischem Niveau: keine überragende Auswahl, aber ausreichend, um den Tag gestärkt zu beginnen. Und die Ausflüge von dort waren allesamt schön. Wir haben die Unterkunft für zwei Wochen gewählt und ihre zentrale Lage innerhalb der Toskana genossen. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

La situation de l'hôtel est tout simplement idyllique ! Une vue imprenable sur le village de San Gimignano et les collines environnantes coiffées de vignes, d'oliviers. C'est la Toscane de carte postale en VRAI ! Le personnel est très sympathique. Les chambres sont belles et d'une grande propreté. Le petit déjeuner buffet sans être gargantuesque offre tout ce qu'il faut de nécessaire pour bien démarrer la journée.

Tolles Hotel in perfekter Lage. Traumhafte Aussicht von der Poolterrasse und auch aus den Zimmern auf den Ort San Gimignano und in die herrliche Landschaft. In 5 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto im Ort San Gimignano.
