Charming, Italian rustic lodging in Tuscany
Beautiful, modernize Italian unit on gorgeous lush green hills with an inviting swimming pool. The views were spectacular. The bathrooms are very modern and comfortable. Good location to explore Tuscany. Our family of 5 enjoyed it.

Beautiful views, sweet staff, very comfortable bed in a big room! Wonderful time here at the agriturismo only 10min drive away from the downtown Montepulciano with so many restaurant and shopping options. Also had eaten at the agriturismo for dinner which was all made by a staff member, Lucilla, with local ingredients, very fresh and tasty.

Beautiful views!
Great location & magnificent views! Clean & comfortable. However, towels were pretty worn out. Also there was no coffee or tea pot and only espresso cups. Breakfast is extra & although it was good, since there are no restaurants close the addition of the coffee pot is a must!! Especially since we rented an apartment for 3.

Fabulous stay near Montepulciano!
This was one of our best stays in Tuscany! The staff were super friendly and responsive. Breakfast was delicious with many home baked goodies and the views were stunning. We did the wine tasting and bought their wine and olive oil. Great location for exploring the area especially close to Montepulciano. Highly recommend!

We loved Agriturismo Sanguineto We booked one night here so we could spend two days exploring a few of The hilltop villages in the area, but we wish we could have stayed longer. Our apartment was warm and nicely furnished, and we were very comfortable. The views from the farmhouse of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking and nearby Montepulciano was a very unique and beautiful place to visit, but it was the staff at Sanguineto who made our visit wonderful. Irene greeted us upon arrival and although she said she did not speak English very well I thought her English speaking skills were excellent. She actually helped me with my Italian (extreme beginner), and made us feel so welcomed. We hope to return someday for a longer stay. Many thanks for this lovely experience.

Wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside and close distance to Montepulciano. Nice pool and hot tub on site as well as a delicious breakfast available for guests.

What a view!
Spotless rooms with a truly gorgeous view. Breakfast was worth the small extra cost and the facilities were great. Beds were rock hard - and we adore hard beds... but this was too much even for us. A very loud and late-arriving large party made our night more sleepless... but I don’t know how the facility would have prevented that

Great place to relax with the family. Nice pool area. 7 min drive to Montepulciano. Wish to wake earlier to use the bicycles available and enjoy the ride inside the vineyard trails at least for a couple of hours. Shame on me

Great comfortable space, but limited in amenities. There was no coffee pot. Upon check-in we were basically shown to our room and left with no introduction to the facilities or services.

I was quite excited for our stay here, but it turned out to be a bit of a letdown. The place asks that you contact them at least an hour before check-in. We tried contacting them all day of our arrival, but they never picked up the phone, or the call would say the number was unavailable. This made me worried, and when we did arrive, we waited outside of the locked gates for over an hour in the pouring rain wondering if anyone was even there. We found out later that you needed to contact them through a different number from what was communicated at the time of booking. The place itself was alright - dead bugs everywhere inside, but the grounds were beautiful.

Gorgeous View of Tuscany Near Montepulciano
We had a great time staying at the agriturismo. We had some troubles checking in. Website states a 24/hr front desk which is NOT true. We arrived at 8:30 pm and the place was shut down. We were supposed to make arrangements ahead of time to be let into the apartment. The staff doesn’t speak English fluently so there was some miscommunication. The website makes it sound like it’s a resort with horses and a winery but there are only a few people tending the grounds. Know what you’re doing ahead of time because there’s no concierge service. However, the grounds are gorgeous and it’s a great location for visiting Tuscany and Montepulciano. Knowing what we know now, we would definitely come back!

Vorrei solo precisare che la nostra azienda ha piu centri di produzione dove abbiamo la cantina di trasformazione ed invecchiamento oppure dove ci sono i cavalli. Purtroppo non tutto si trova a Sanguineto. Per la reception al momento della prenotazione nelle indicazioni appare di chiamare un'ora prima dell'arrivo per programmare l'accoglienza 24hr come faciamo ogni volta. grazie ancora per il vostro soggiorno

Wonderful experience in Tuscany
It was a fantastic place to stay as our home base in Tuscany. The views from the top level rooms were breathtaking. We comfortably fit a family of three in there. Simple but clean.

After a hectic itinerary of sight seeing, we needed some relax time. Made a 2 night reservation and loved it so much, stayed one more night. It was amazing, the view spectacular. The only problem we found, was the bed and sofa were very uncomfortable. Good location to see Montepulciano, Cortona, and the Lake District, all within a comfortable driving distance.

Beautiful place; confusing charges.
A little bit mixed feelings about our stay. The property is beautiful and we really loved looking out over the misty hillsides in the morning. Andrea, the owner, was very helpful, and it was a good location as long as you have a car. Unlike some people who commented, I did not have any issues with the beds or the traffic noise-- we found it very peaceful. The slight hiccup was several unexpected charges. I booked for $89 *USD* per night, but the confirmation listed €90/night-- currently about $100. Since Andrea insisted it was a mistake by the website I let it drop. Later we found out there is a €5/night charge for using the kitchen. We only used the kitchen once and we washed our dishes, but-- OK. Then there was the €7/person/night for breakfast. I should have known to ask, but it was presented as if it was included. Andrea did waive the fee for the first morning since we just had a couple of cappuccinos, but the whole thing could have been clearer. So all in all we ended up paying about $115 per night, including the tourism fee which we knew about. I looked and the €5 and €7 charges ARE listed in the very fine print on the website, though not in the room info, or in the confirmation. I do think there's some unnecessary confusion, so I'll take it up with Hotels.com. Otherwise a great place to stay, and a very authentic experience of rural Tuscany.

Nice apartments ready for you to cook in them!
We had three days/two nights in the area during the off season. The hotel restaurant wasn't open for any dinners, so that must be a high season offering. We didn't partake of the daily breakfast buffet since we brought our own with us. The apartment was nice with a full kitchenette loaded with the essentials necessary to cook yourself. You must have a vehicle to get around, as this is not walkable to Montepulciano. Our first night was uneventful and quiet. The next evening more guests arrived and partied late into the night. This was irritating simply because the apartments are attached and they were terribly noisy.

Planning to visit again
We enjoyed most of our accommodations in Italy, but this is the one place we definitely want to come back to. Just a couple of miles out of Montepulciano, it is peaceful and quiet, with beautiful scenery all around. We all loved the pool.

Taste of Tuscany
The hotel located in a vineyard was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful surrunded by olive tree and vineyards. Our consisted of a downstairs living area (soft made into a second bed) and kitchen. The kitchen had all the pans and dishes to made your own Italian dinner. The upstairs had a bathroom and bedroom, The bedroom window opened up to a million dollar view of the country side. The pool was refreshing after a long day of visiting local Tuscany towns. The breakfast (for an added cost) was average. The owner and manager were both very friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful place to stay!

Centrally located
The Agriturismo was perfect except for the fact that it sits right next to the street. If your looking for a quiet peacfull getaway look elsewhere there are hundereds of nice secluded places. The beds were very hard which is not uncommon anywhere in Italy or Europe for that matter. Overall it was Ok.

Schön für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt
Sauber, ordentlich, guter Zustand, freundliche Betreiber. Der Pool war toll, der Whirlpool im Sommer leider geschlossen. Frühstück (extra Kosten 8,-€ p.P.) war sehr gut. Hausgemachtes Gebäck & 4 versch. Kuchen, Rührei o.ä. & Schinken- Käse-Toast frisch zubereitet. Minus Punkte: Keine Klimaanlage (was okay war) aber auch keine Fliegengitter in den Fenstern. Fernseher (wenn man sowas im Urlaub benötigt) war kleiner wie ein Standart PC Monitor. Wir würden wieder dort übernachten.

Foi otima no geral, unica crítica que ao co fimar reserva me i formaram que nao tinha quarto mais barato e o hotel estava vazio. Meu celega com a familia alugou comigo pelo booking o.quarto mais em conta e fui eu reservar depois.pelo.hotel.com só tinha quarto mais caro. Hotel dislonibiliza para site somente um quarto barato que é otimo também. Paguei quarto mais caro e estavamos em duas famílias somente no hotel.

다 좋은 숙소, 담배 냄새만 빼고.
숙소는 깨끗하고 안락하고 주차가 편하고 경치가 너무 좋았습니다. 하지만 담배 냄새가 남아있어서 힘들었습니다. 금연실을 따로 관리하면 별 8~9점을 줬을 겁니다. 크리스마스, 12/26, 1/1 은 근처 식료품점이 문을 닫아서 시에나 같은 도심지에서 미리 장을 보셔야 합니다.
