I couldn't wait to leave. The reception staff was nice, but otherwise the hotel was awful. Carpets needed replacing 10 years ago, clogged drains, flat pillows, dangerous walk to the centro.

Good value for money.

Good value for money, nice room, good amenities. Wifi worked well until a tour bus full of Japanese tourists arrived. Then it wouldn't load pages, probably because so many others had logged in. Location is OK, but a ways from the central town, which is not easy to find on foot. Free parking was great.

Pretty good value in the Siena area

The breakfast was above average. All-told, it is a good value. This is a FORMER Best Western, so the architecture is familiar to travelers from the USA. They have closed their in-house restaurant.

Via Montelbuccio, 31

Clean room, a bit tired and limited breakfast. Next to the busy highway and can be very noisy. Ample parking space. In the outskirt of Siena. Not many dining options near it.

Nice staff and delicious breakfast! They spoke multiple languages and gave good advise for traveling in the area.

A Hotel in Siena with abundant free parking

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: The location, the ease of getting to the hotel from the Autostrada, the parking, the breakfast, and the price.
Cons: The system of door locks needs to be upgraded so that the doors open on the first attempt rather than the fourth.
Location: All of Siena is within 15 minutes of the hotel and all of Tuscany is accessible on major roads quickly from the hotel.
We have used the Palazzo dei Priori on several occasions for extended stays in Siena. We usually have a rental car and the parking lot at the hotel makes the car less a burden than it would be at most other hotels in the area. The hotel is located just outside the walls, very near one of the city bus routes so getting into the center city is easy. It is also very close to the main roads out of Siena going towards Firenze, Grosseto, Perugia, or south into the Crete. Overall, it has suited us very well.

A good place to spend a night or two

A quiet place in the outskirts of Siena (walkable though). Breakfast was nice but not that diverse. Staff was nice and friendly.
