Real personal care for his guests.
Sadly we never got to stay there. The electricity to the village was cut off which meant no guests could be hosted. Nevertheless I was most impressed that I was rung in good time on the day, informed of the problem (wholly out of his control) and alternative good quality found nearby directly on my walking route (Siena to San Gimignano). Great efforts were made to ensure we were not let down. Top marks for ensuring his customers were not let down by a problem wholly beyond his control. Given this level of direct, personal customer care I am sure you will be looked after well. Well done and thank you.

Hidden gem!
Amazing small hotel in a quiet village. Room was very well appointed and modern, within an older, charming building. The fact that there is an absolutely terrific restaurant within the building was a real bonus. The food there, both in the evening and for breakfast was quite outstanding. Excellent value for money - highly recommended.

We couldn't beleive our luck at finding this delightful hotel - old building in the middle of a quaint hill village. No traffic noise and very comfortable. One of our rooms had a balcony with steps leading down to a small piazza at the rear of the hotel - a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set over Tuscany. A la carte restaurant served superb food, at a fairly reasonable price. Good breakfast. IF WE'D KNOWN HOW NICE IT WOULD BE WE WOULD HAVE GOT THERE EARLIER, AND STAYED LONGER.

We arrived during low season and since it was our anniversary, we were upgraded to the "suite", very beautiful and warmly decorated. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant downstairs. The little village was tiny, old and truly unique. This was a warm and very quaint hotel!

This hotel was extremely hot with no air conditioning. Further the website advertizes a pool but we were told it was based on availability. There is no 24/7 reception and the on-site restaurant was ridiculously expensive. I would not recommend this hotel.

A Pleasant Manner Cost Little But Goes A Long Way
Hotel was clean , a bit basic but fairly good value in a good location. Our stay was spoilt by receptionist who was hostile and unfriendly, whom we tried to avoid. Unfortunate the evening meal in their restaurant was also spoilt by the same person`s attitude, very blunt and a certain amount of snobbery . A big disappointment on what could of been a great stay.

Nice and pleasant hotel
we've stay at albergo casalta for 4 days, and it was very good Breakfast is delicious and room maintainance is great a small comment, the air condition should work im may also (no need to wait for summer)

Incantevole pausa vicino a Monteriggioni
Meravigliosa location, arredata con cura e gusto, pulita, accogliente, situata vicino a Monteriggioni e a 12 km da Siena. Circondata dalle verdi colline toscane é un luogo incantevole dove rilassarsi. Host gentili e disponibili. Colazione ottima nel patio fiorito.

Lo consiglio senza. Camera pulita e calda. Colazione abbondante e con un notevole assortimento. Tra l'altro a colazione era disponibile persino una torta senza glutine buonissima. I proprietari sono infatti molto attenti in caso di esigenze alimentari particolari. Bravi!!

6 daags verblijf (ouder koppel)
Zeer goed kleinschalig hotel. Charmante gastvrouw en -heer. Spreken behalve Italiaans ook Engels en Frans. Mooie ruime kamer en dito comfortabele badkamer (kregen de grootste omdat we 6 nachten verbleven). Minidorpje waardoor handig dat je in het restaurant kan eten. Gastronomische keuken tegen zeer democratische prijzen (geen snacks). Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt. Kortom, excellent verblijf gehad.

Grazioso hotel sulla via Francigena, abbiamo sostato per una notte. Ottimo il ristorante all'interno. Il borgo dove è collocato (Strove) è molto suggestivo.

la location è suggestiva, le camere sono completamente ristrutturate ma arredate con mobilio in legno, i l bagno e la doccia sono nuovi e pulitissimi e funzionanti alla perfezione. Ho cenato al ristorante e devo dire che i prezzi sono contenuti e la qualità del cibo e del servizio è decisamente elevata. Anche la colazione è stata soddisfacente e il prezzo ottimo. WiFi gratuito presente in tutta la struttura, compreso il ristorante Consigliatissimo.

Mooi hotel in een piep klein dorpje. Goede uitvalsbasis om de prachtige omgeving te verkennen. Zeer schone kamers, heel vriendelijk personeel en een erg goed restaurant er bij! Wij hebben genoten!

Soggiorno da favola.
Ho soggiornato in questo hotel solo per una notte, ma spero di poterci tornare presto, Bellissima la location, ottima accoglienza.Intero staff gentile, educato e disponibile. Pulizia impeccabile. Colazione abbondante e qualità dei prodotti eccellente, come del resto la cena nel ristorante. Zona silenziosa e tranquilla e comoda per raggiungere tutte le mete della Toscana più bella. Insomma consiglio a tutti coloro che si recheranno da quelle parti di soggiornare in questo hotel.

Bellissima esperienza, per una notte!
Piccolo albergo molto caratteristico, camera spaziosa, molto bella, con lettino per la bimba in mansarda. Personale e proprietari simpatici e disponibili, ristorante annesso di ottima qualità, colazione molto buona, per lo più dolce, con affettati, formaggi, uova soda come salati.

déplorable!Suite à un problème de réservation,nous avons eu affaire à la responsable Barbara qui à refusé tout accord ,faisant preuve d'une attitude anti-commerciale.Ensuite nous avons tous passé une mauvaise nuit dans 2 chambres inconfortables.La première sans fenêtre était équipée d'un climatiseur bruyant et fonctionnant mal,relié à un seau par un tuyau!Dans la seconde,la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas du tout et il faisait très chaud.Hotel à éviter.

Bruyant ! Très bruyant!
Lieu très bruyant : les " patrons " parlent très fort même tard dans la nuit ! De plus, l'auberge n a pas fait les travaux d insonorisation qui auraient pu amortir les voix, les rires , les pas des gens! De prime abord, ce lieu d apparence agréable et serein , est au final un lieu " terriblement " bruyant ! Les cloisons des chambres sont si fines que vous avez l ' impression que les occupants de la chambre voisine sont au pied de votre lit!! Je déconseille malheureusement l ´endroit!

Indirizzo errato e hotel NON di charme
L'esperienza è staa a dir poco negativa; la posizione dell'hotel indicata come in centro a MOnteriggioni è invece a Strove, 8 km, da monteriggioni, e già questo è inaccettabile. Colazione servita dalle 8:30 alle 9:30.... essendo in vacanza o se qualcunio volesse approfittarne per lavoro la cosa è ovviamnete poco pratica. Tralasciamo poi la camera (che definire vecchia è dir poco) e iol servizion, poco cortese e impreparato. esperienza da NON ripetere

Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è stato soddisfacente , inoltre la camera andava liberata entro le 10 del mattino . Per non parlare del condizionatore che era un pinguino rumorosissimo .

Hôtel dans maison typique. Bonne table. piscine dans autre hôtel à 500 m dans le même petit village qui a du cachet. Pas d' ascenseur. Accueil agréable.
