Was a little hesitant at first due to the mixed reviews. Lovely comfortable room. It was very warm but had sufficient AC. Unfortunately the AC beeped all night and started to drip on the floor. The second night we stayed there was a lot of noise from the courtyard. Strange entry but as long as you have the address it's easy to find. They should put some light in the courtyard where the elevator is though. That was a little creepy at night. Breakfast was quite decent. Service was helpful and pleasant and even printed up our train tickets for us. Cant beat the location. Its on a main street close to the major sights and bus station.

We choose this hotel because it is between the two cities we would like to visit: Montepuciano and Montalcino.
It is a good hotel with a parking, good breakfast and a great staff.
The internet is free, but not very fast.
We like this hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my Aunt. We used it as a home base for day trips throughout Tuscany! It's location was perfect, being smack in between Northern and Southern Tuscany (everything is within 2 hours). Only downside, if you don't want to be driving the roads at night (which we didn't) then your only option really is to eat dinner at their restaurant. Good food there, but definitely not three nights worth of fun. It's too unsafe to walk into town and we didn't feel comfortable driving on the unlit windy roads at night. Magdalena was at the front desk and the most amazing host! She was so sweet and helped us plan all of our day trips, giving us great advice always! She was enthusiastic and always wanted to hear about our day. The view from pretty much every room or terrace at the hotel is breathtaking as well!

Hotel is in fantastic location right in the middle of the action. Our room overlooked a small square across the street that had a holiday concert that we were able to watch from the room. Hotel bar is pricey, as expected by a 5* lobby bar, but staff is friendly and prompt. Only complaint is the flatness of the pillows and that's stretching. Breakfast is great (buffet plus small menu), staff is quick to recommend dinner places and cafes, and Siena is one of the best towns in Italy. Very recommended.
Of note: we drove to the hotel with a TomTom GPS and it took us through multiple traffic-limited, pedestrian-only streets. If you plan to drive to the hotel, set your GPS for the square to the north of the hotel with bus stops and a taxi stand.

We had a Superior Room on the mezzanine floor which faced sideways and was very quiet, but even the rooms facing the street would not be very noisy. The room was new and comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure. The bed was nice and firm. The breakfast was excellent. Some people may be disappointed not to have a kettle in the room (but there is free coffee in the bar) and some may find the 25 steps to the mezzanine floor to be a problem, but these things were not issues for us.

We read a lot of reviews and finally decided on stay at Castello di Leonina based on what we read and were not disappointed - the property is stunning. Dinners on the veranda were the highlights during our stay; the food was excellent. Breakfasts were full of fresh pastries, fruits, yogurts, meats and eggs. Rooms are beautifully appointed and clean. The staff is attentive and courteous. Look forward to returning!

This hotel was ideally situated, just 10-15 minutes walk to the town centre. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was very warm (even for our stay in November) but this could be rectified by opening the window onto a realy good view of the garden and surrounding countryside. We could not fault this hotel.
