Not As Good as Other Reviews, Unfortunately

Selected this hotel based on so many positive reviews and Mr. Patel's words. Stayed Sat night of Memorial Day weekend. Mr.Patel must have been on vacation, because it was not a pleasant stay. Check-in wasn't good or bad. One person at desk and two people ahead of us at 3:20. Male clerk wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly either. Got our room keys and went to room to find luggage/food on counter. Called front desk and clerk said he'd get us a new room.He and head of housekeeping showed- both talking as to why someone in room.Gave us room next door- all good by 5 pm.
Room was very clean and spacious. Very nice suite!
We swam and relaxed in hot tub in outdoor pool area. Area is small, but no one else was there. Nice.
Slept well and went to breakfast at 8 a.m.. All tables were full/people waiting. Hot food container empty, fruit bowl empty, waffle mix machine empty, no pastries, and both coffee machines brewing. Asked attendant why the shortage. Stated normal breakfast attendant given the weekend off and she was the laundry person helping out. Stayed in breakfast area for over 30 mins, hoping food would be set out. It wasn't. So, the breakfast all other reviewers raved about was non-existent for our stay. Many other hotel guests were complaining and left to eat elsewhere, as we did.
So, the room was great. However, all other aspects of this hotel stay were not. Probably won't stay here again, unfortunately.
