I reserved a KING size room online. I made it in at about 8:30 or 9 pm. The room was gone. They told me they sold my room 3 times. They tried accommodating me with two twin beds to make a King. No, thank you give me the Queen. I get the Queen guess what I have to wait til the room gets cleaned. The worst experience EVER !!!!!! If I book a room that should be my room period . We give Cell phone info at least call to Confirm or Inform your guest please !!!!!!!!!!!

My room was clean! I just needed a quiet place to sleep and I got it. There was coffee in the lobby. After reading some past reviews, I was skeptical about this place but not much to choose from in Dexter. After my stay, I think they must have updated the place a bit because it was not as bad as some of those reviews! If i need to stay in Dexter again, I'd stay here.

Stayed here while visiting a relative and will continue to book our room here whenever we return to Dexter. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bigger screen TV with lots of channels to choose from. The diner right next door couldnt be more convenient.

Staff member at check in was extremely friendly and helpful despite the fact she was working on Thanksgiving Day. She gave us a room that was very closeby and accessible for my 91yo mother. Recent construction and updated rooms are a plus.

It was amazing. It was clean, no bugs. It was safe. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They had my reservation and room all ready. Check in and check out both were less than five minutes. The bed and pillows were super comfy. It was the best two nights sleep I’ve had in literally years. It was within 2 minutes of everywhere i needed to be. I typically stay with family when I’m in town but it was a quick last minute trip and i needed some down time and i got it! Honestly i think I’ll stay there more often it was great and relaxing! I had read mixed reviews so i wasn’t sure what to expect but it was awesome and a great price!

Good & clean room
Clean room, clean bed.. nice place to sleep. Though they did not have my payment in their system & charged my card @ the check in, which was actually cheaper than Hotels.com.... contacted website about my booking issue, they refunded the cheaper of the 2 charges.. sooo, I ended up paying almost $12 more through them than the hotel charges.... that was disappointing, refund will take up to 15days to show in my account, but they have already started the refund process. So I am happy about that.

It’s ok
The hotel was difficult to find. GPS could not find it. The app said they take dogs up to 50 pounds. When I got there they said they only take dogs up to 25 pounds. Luckily, I talked him into letting me stay. There are no USB ports for chargers. The room was clean.

Our booking ended up being double charged by Travelodge by Wyndham Dexter. The staff @ Travelodge by Wyndham Dexter were not knowledgeable about booking with Expedia. The Manager Tiffany on duty at 9 am, the following day, made no effort to return a phone call to correct the double billing charge. We checked out at 6 am and was unable to stay until Manager Tiffany arrived due continuing our teip. We were headed to a funeral out of state. After contacting Expedia, thwy were able to confirm we were charged double and issued a refund within 24 hours! Thank you.

We had two rooms, one Queen and two queens. The one Queen was ok but the two Queen room and bathroom/shower was dirty. Tv didn’t work, phone didn’t work, when we called on our cell phone about the tv, there was no one to look at it. Missing a light bulb and curtains weren’t functional. Had to safety pin them closed. Outside security door to bldg didn’t work. When I reported these things to the supervisor the comment was ‘ok’. Not even an apology or offer to make any type of adjustment to our bill.

I like the Dexter area. The check-in was lengthy due to technology issues. Staff said it is slow. The property is under construction; however the crew and staff could do better with clean up. The coffee pots in lobby were dirty!!! It was difficult to find the entrance. The room was fine for sleeping. Could have been a little more crisp with cleanliness. Ice machine on vending area but no bucket in the room.

I have been changed twice. Once by Expedia and once by the property. The room I booked wasn’t available and the desk person didn’t know how to fix it and whatever she did she charged me for it. Tried stopping on the way out and the person at the desk informed me that the manager wouldn’t be there until the afternoon and no one there could help me.

Hotel under revocations, outside can be a bit deceiving but my room was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable. No breakfast but 24 hour diner across parking lot.

They didn't have ice buckets and no cups plastic or paper in the room but they had an ice machine! They had a cold beverage machine but no cups! Room clean grounds not so much.

This hotel was very clean and had modern updates. All the standard conveniences were provided, including a microwave. The only drawback was the adjacent property which had an overflowing dumpster. Also, our building's door lock was broken, so anyone could have come into the hallways. Otherwise, very nice room and very quiet.

We usually stay at this property when in the area due to location to local businesses and restaurants. We could tell the property has had some updates done. There was still a lingering cigarette smell even though the property is smoke-free, but that could be because it use to not be smoke-free. The only issue we really had with our stay this time was that we didn’t know housekeeping would only come by if we asked them to. I wasn’t sure if this was a temporary policy or if the hotel changed their policies, but it would have been nice to know. We had to keep grabbing trash bags and bringing our trash to the cart. I also wish there were amenities on the 2nd floor. We had to go pretty far to get ice. And the side door latch was weird, so many times we had to go to the opposite end of the building to get in.

Shower drain had accumulated hair from what appeared to be many guests. Bed skirts were torn and hanging. An empty beer can was crumpled and in the hall way from before we arrived to when we checked out. NOT up to Wyndham standards I'm sure. Front desk personnel were great.

We have been replacing the old bed skirts with new ones, and I will make sure the room you were in is on the list to be taken care of immediately. I will also have maintenance look at the shower drain. The trash in the hall is an issue I will address with housekeeping. It is not up to My standards either. I am pleased however to hear that you didn't experience any issues with our front desk staff. I hope that you will allow us the chance to better serve you in the future.
