Location: The location is close to the town Argentan. Not much to see. We ended up driving to Le Mans for the day.
We reserved a superior room, which was very large. The floorboards were uneven and mostly bare. The furniture was threadbare. The bed was only so so but we had nice linens. The bathroom was modern and very nice. Good amenities provided including a bottle of water and meringues as a welcome. We had a surprisingly reasonably priced dinner in the dinner. It was very good though there were limited choices. Breakfast, however, had only limited cold choices. When I complained, the server prepared fried eggs for us but they were so over salted that we could barely eat them.

Disappointing but from outside it was beautiful

Started badly. We booked to hotel for my husband's birthday. The hotel wasn't expecting us The room was run down and needed a good clean and some refurbishment eg the mirror was cleaned halfway up, then it was dirty Food was ok, just ok. Receptionist was lovely and helpful

Oasis of luxury en route to Calais

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Peace, quiet, luxury and food :). The pool was nice too!
Cons: A few maintenance niggles, but nothing significant.
Location: Very, very horsey country - the Pavillon is surrounded by 'heras' or 'stud farms'. Beautiful countryside and also on this year's Tour de France route
We booked this hotel as a spot of luxury on our way to Calais from La Rochelle. It didn't disappoint! The staff were welcoming and friendly, our room was lovely, the bath deep and the ambience peaceful and relaxed. To top it all, the hotel has an excellent restaurant where we enjoyed a fabulous evening meal. Absolutely lovely.

Bon service

Nice hotel but a bit expensive given the location and the lack of details

Cadre superbe, hébergement sans intérêt

Posted Aug 2, 2012 on Hotels

Accueil a l'arrivee inexistant.
