Never again

Posted Jun 1, 2012 on Hotels
It started very well with a service minded receptionis, but I was declared, the credit card machine don't work and I have to pay cash. No service in the pool area and it was clients with screaming kids there, they were not hotel guest. Ok massage and friendly therapist. Breakfast was a joke, very few products and the hot food was cold. Only one selection of tea. 1 waiter & 1 waitris, none asked if we wanted some help or offer something special as esspresso or cappucion. Room service was fast and the food rich. During our stay, mainly all staff was located in the bar area to chit chat or watching TV. When I wanted to check out the evening before, early departure next day, the receptionist was very worried about I should use the minibar....if I do i pay cash. I handed over the cash money for the bill, sorry we don't have any change, can you go and change your money. Sorry, there was my drop, is this a 4 star hotel, shall I as a client take care of changing money? I would recommend to degree this hotel to a 2 star hotel as well lower the prices. I will not recommend the hotel or use the hotel again.

Nice hotel in a small tourist town

Rowa dany is a nice hotel in Sinaia, it is within walking distance of the tourist sites, monastery and peles castle. The credit card reader did not work so i had to pay cash, or Lei, but the ladies at the front desk were very attractive so i can't complain. Just a warning, google maps has the hotel in the wrong location. google also has he post office in the wrong spot it is behind hotel Anda. hopefully they will change it soon.

Could have been good

Posted Sep 7, 2011 on Hotels
Rooms are fine and clean. Though there was a vague smell of cold tobacco in the room. The spa could really be improved: noone at the desk, most people don't shower, pool was really cold, children screaming in a closed space, no information about the massage services. Breakfast is also not up to standard. Bad coffee, no fruits, no muesli (only little "choco flakes"). Customers smoking in the public areas (corridors, hall).

We decided to stay two night when we saw the hotel. It was in the center of Sinaia, quiet zone, pritty high standart though the people at the brakefast where somewhat not that satisfied with their jobs I supose. Pritty bitter.
