Great location and wonderful freindly staff.
A good value base ( by Singspore standards ) with a fabulous location right in the centre of town. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. Excellent.

Room wasn't as good and clean as expected.
Room wasn't as good and clean as expected. Used empty bottle was found under the bed, bed sheets were yellowish in colour. Bathroom was dirty.

The staffs are friendly, the air condition system was good the room was comfortable and clean, the bed was so comfortable,toilet also clean, the wifi was good, the location was nice so convenient, overall rate is 10/10.

Price of accommodation not value for the money
On the day of check in, I was brought to my room and on that day, I was one of the earliest to check-in too. The other rooms were still vacant and unoccupied. I decided to walk around to view other rooms. I realised all the rooms are different (of course i was comparing the same type of rooms). I was unfortunately given the worst room among all the same tier rooms. There was only a bed in the room and a small table, that's all. Other rooms had other facilities like a sofa for example, but i only had my bed, which is on the second 'floor'. So, we sat and ate on the ground whenever it was not bedtime. On a side note, the room had a stench throughout my entire stay. It felt much better whenever we were out travelling around SG because it was becoming quite unbearable and it also felt gloomy in the room, given that the room is quite dim, whenever we stayed in the room for awhile. Overall, my partner and I felt that we could've stayed at other similar priced hostels with better equipped facilities and room conditions.

Good for budget hotel
I'd travel for short time, and I've found this hotel is easy to access. I loved to stay for longer here. But one thing I don't like is the shared bathroom cz a lot of people used it's so smelly and dirty. I wish to have my own bathroom inside my room. About the breakfast I'd love request for rice instead of only bread.

Location is relatively good but the place is very dirty and has a moldy smell. It's not cleaned very well and there's no window to air the room

Nice quality given the low price
Pros: The hostel is overall clean. Not noisy during my stay. Close to the Bugis station, you can get to Bugis junction by 10 minutes. They also provided a mobile phone with 4G unlimited data to us, which is really useful if you don't have internet access yourself. Staff are helpful. Cons: The room is really small, there are basically just beds and a small drawer. The gap between the bed and the wall is filled with many rubbish, which is quite disgusting. There are some insects in the toilet area, and you need to take your shower with them.

This hostel was a short walk from MRT green line from airport. It was clean and staff helpful. They provided a free smartphone upon checkin with internet access anywhere and local calling. This was AWESOME for us and made navigating the city so much easier. It is next to a busy bar and the Arab neighborhood. There is a lot to see and do in this area. We were in a triple private room and it served our needs. Lots of stairs to get to rooms.

photo of hotel rooms from website is quite different.such as No seats in the room while the photos show bean bags. it is a bit noisy at night because of night clubs nearby. if you are looking a place to sleep only, it is okay.

It was ok! Bed was comfy enough, the shower was hot, wifi was good and the aircon worked. Breakfast was good, help yourself to toast, cereal, apples and a fab coffee machine. The staff were very helpful and it was in a good location! Only downside was that the room was very small! We had a triple room and there was only just enough space for our 3 rucksacks!

Comfy, easy stay. Staff were friendly and super helpful. We left our bags for the whole day after checking out so we could sightsee, free of backpacks and the staff were really accommodating. Bread and cereal were available for breakfast, as well as complimentary coffee and tea. Again, easy, clean, comfortable stay

ok... this hostel is quite nice among hostels in singapore. but.... the room is super small with no window... which means it will be not a good place to stay more than 2 nights... the location is great and the staff is also perfect.. but will be little choice we can take with small budget in super expensive singapore.

Great value, clean, good location
If you're staying in a hostel you need to expect hostel conditions. This means your expectation of the ambience and environment should be aligned to what is generally expected of a hostel. Overall, it was clean, staff were quite friendly and location was good. I was in a room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The first thing that surprised me was the double bed is actually a loft double bed (i.e. a bed that is elevated, like a bunk bed but without the bottom). This did not suit my companion, as he recently had surgery on his knee and was unable to climb the ladder. However, this did not negatively affect our experience. Ensure you bring toothbrush, toothpaste, plug adapters, conditioner, shaver, shaving cream. The bathroom we had only had a dispenser for shampoo/body gel (a 2 in 1). They supplied water and a coffee machine which had all your common coffees as well as local favourites milo and teh tarik. I was underwhelmed by the breakfast, but only because I personally believe I had my expectations set too high and was thinking of a hotel buffet breakfast. The breakfast served here consisted of white bread which you could toast and peanut butter and butter spreads. They also offered cereal (something that tasted like coco pops and your standard cornflakes). Overall, I cannot fault them and I definitely enjoyed my stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again, provided the value remains as it is now!

It' s a perfect place to stay. The neighbourhood was amazing and representating the other side of singapore. I would come again to this hotel. The room was a bit small for 3 but that's not really a problem.

Compact room in central location
We stayed for a night for our short layover in Singapore and the room was just what we needed. It was in a central location. A 10 min walk to the nearest MRT line. Positive: I loved the unlimited beverage at the lobby and the very helpful and friendly reception staff. Compact rooms and hug top bunk beds (best for young adults). Located near Arab Street and a short walk to Bugis shopping. Negative: The room was compact and looked clean. However the sheets were a bit dirty. The pillow case looked washed but the dirt was there. Also, the top bunk bed is not recommended for older people as it is a tough and steep climb. No bus nearby.

Smell and noise issues
Overall it was OK (kudos to the staff for being helpful and accommodating) but there were a few things I wasn't comfortable with: - There's an automatic scent spray in the solo bedrooms, exactly like the ones in public restrooms. I understand this is to compensate for the lack of ventilation and mask the faint but constant "toilety" smell of drainage, but people with sensitive noses (like myself) will find it hard to rest peacefully throughout the night. - The noise from the neighboring clubs outside last from 7pm til about 1 or 2 am; not just on weekends but on weeknights too. This might be mitigated by windows with thicker glazing.

Situated between two nightclubs - loud.
A very small hostel, friendly enough staff but the rooms were very disappointing. Not cheep either - cost for 4 of us $1200 for seven nights - I was expecting better. Rooms very small (interesting to see, when visiting the National Museum, that prisoners of war during WW2 in Singapore had more space than available in the hostel rooms); not sufficient for three let alone four people. Rooms also dirty and smelled of damp - evidence of damp throughout room. Water in the bathroom not hot - staff said this was because it was hot outside and people did not want warm showers (??) how ridiculous. Located inbetween two night clubs so loud until about 3 am - this made it difficult to sleep. Also when walking back to the hostel late at night there was definite evidence of 'ladies of the night' working close by and many men using the service. Not really a good environment for family to experience. Would definitely not stay here again or recommend to any friend - would tell them to steer clear. Better places available for the cost.

One night stay
It was only for one night stay. Everything was good except there was one girl (boyish look) at the counter which I prefer to be more friendlier to customer. It's no big deal but I believe that can be improved, so that customer will feel more welcomed. Other than that, everything is great. The room and bathroom are clean. Location is convenient - near to Arab St., restaurants and etc. But it's quite a walking distance to MRT.
