Very nice hotel & close to beach & park

Pros: The rooms itself, surrounding nature, beach & park. Not to forget the great services from staff.
Cons: The selection of food.
Location: The theme park & beach are awesome
I really enjoy the beautiful environment around the hotel with peaceful mind. The great facilities surrounding by nature will be something that I will missed to this place & will makes my future trip again here.

Beautiful hotel - terrible staff

Pros: very nice location and hotel facilities. A gem in Singapore.
Cons: The staff training and the quality of food ingredients. It seems that the hotel management is managing the hotel on the cheap. Poor training of staff
Capella is certainly one of the most beautiful hotels in Singapore. The location is magical, the facilities very well restored and charged with history and culture. But the 5-star treatment stops here unfortunately. The service is absolutely appalling for an hotel of this class. The check-in experience is no better than the one you would get at the IBIS. The waiters spilled wine on my wife's dress - almost without any apologie. The room was extremely noisy due to malfunctioning AC. We had to beg the staff to put us into another room. This happened after 1.5 hours and we had to follow up with the staff on a regular basis as they would not keep us updated. What I find surprising is that you get a personalised email ahead of the stay, welcoming you to the hotel. This is what you can expect from a 5-star hotel. The problem is that the processes in place render this nice touch completely irrelevant, or worse: damaging the entire experience. The person who sent the email was never there during our stay and the replacement had no idea how to do her job, trying to understand our desires and make our stay a joyful one. In all, an extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel, expect if you are OK with a 2-star experience in terms of service and food quality.

Good room size, fantastic service. The only complain is that the only pool which children are allowed to use is small for a hotel of such size.

A great weekend getaway

It was a great weekend getaway. Very serene and relaxing environment and the services of the staff is awesome. They go the extra mile to arrange for a birthday cake and the Chinese restaurant is excellent. Will certainly come back again.

Best Staycation

Years ago I visited Capella Singapore for my friend's birthday celebration at one of the villa, the experience was great and the villa was grant. Always wanted to have a staycation there with my family and friends, so last month we decided to book a room for a birthday celebration, I was glad we chose Capella for this great day. They surprised us with a free upgrade to their Colonial Manors, the stay was fantastic, their staffs and customer service was the best we experienced so far. We will look forward to have a staycation there soon, thank you Capella Singapore for the great experience!
