One Night for Business

Offered as part of an Expedia package, I chose this hotel due to its chic, modern style, good pricing, and good amenities. The initial room I was given had a funky smell and was too low and close to the pool, so I immediately went back down and asked for another room. Ferhanza did not check me in, but she was very helpful in changing a room for me to the top floor and on the other side of the hotel, away from the pool. Room was great. Big, with all the amenities described online. The only thing was that the room was not as clean as it could have been - hair on the nightstand, and some sticky stains from beverages on the counter was not cleaned off properly. Bottom line - great hotel hardware but lacking the "software" or strict management controls to make this hotel fantastic. I noticed some of the reviews also stated somethings to the same effect. Location is great. The 7-11 nearby is very helpful to get last minute basics. I would stay here again as long as the price remains attractive.
