Rooms with 2 single beds!

I had booked a room with a queen size bed as advertised on Expedia. I got a room with 2 single beds! They wanted to upgrade to a room with bigger beds. Staff was not accommodating and is mainly looking to sell upgrades at every turn.

Old Property needs face lifting

Hotel staff is nice and the room is quite clean. However, personally i think the space is a bit small.

Charged credit card although room was paid for.

The front desk receptionist asked for credit card details for security and charged $200 Singapore dollars.i pointed out that the room was paid for and we didn't owe anything and was reassured that transaction will be reversed but I didn't get my money back yet.

Comfortable Hotel

Pros: cleanliness & accessibility
Cons: a softer bed would have been nice.
Location: easy to get about
friendly, helpful staff. The bathroom is a bit small; but, still usable. The hotel even provide a little waiting room upon check-out, so you don't have to stand around the lobby waiting for your transport.

Hotel is a bit off without anything around.

Pros: The style of the room
Cons: Service
Location: Nothing
Service is low. I asked for a quiet room but they gave me one next to generator starting at 5 am. Since I complained due to two destroyed nights, I thought they would compensate by upgrade. No, they gave me only a very small room which was quieter but no compensation for the other destroyed nights where I've had to wake up very early due to their noice. The breakfast and restaurants without any choice, with no restaurant close by. No minibar with soft drinks or water. I had to wait 45 min and call reception twice to get a bottle of complementary water.

Staff couldn't do enough for us

Pros: The good quality service
Cons: Only negative was the lack of service or attention provided by one young man on our last night at the princess terrace restaurant.
Location: no shops, plenty of cafés across the river. Taxis were a plenty so it was easy and relatively cheap to get around. Note yellow hop on bus was outside
We had the "executive" package - which just added to the overall excellent stay that we had. It was well worth the extra few dollars it cost. All staff were helpful, courteous and would go just that little bit extra when required. We enjoyed the peaceful breakfasts and evening sundowners. We were very impressed with Arianne's wonderful service. Thank you Copthorne KIngs.

I hate when front desk girl has no expression. Smile goes long way. Is it me when I go to hotel I want to greet with smile? It's a service industries, can't deal with that find another desk job

A quiet comfortable hotel. In house dining facilities good and a variety of styles provided. Withing easy travel distance of main attractions.
