Excellent Hotel

Cons: Could possibly employ more staff at breakfast as the staff were extremely busy and it was difficult for them to keep up we so many people
Location: excellent location with train on site and walking distance to sights and activities
Wonderful stay, excellent staff, especially the Concierge who sorted a problem with our flight and assisted us making the airport for our flight. The room we had was wonderful with excellent city views, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend staying at the Fairmont.

Pros: Good central location
Cons: Bathing room shower facilities, the position of the shower-head is so near the half-closed glass door..
Location: many restuarants and shopping mall around the hotel, all can be reach by foot.
Welcome by friendly staff during check-in, the room is clean.

Excellent hotel close to MRT

Second time we have stayed at the Fairmont and we like it. We upgraded to executive room. Very comfy room and bed, very nice hotel staff, great breakfast and in room dining esp for small children, located above City Hall MRT and Raffles city mall which also has a supermarket. Only thing is wifi not free as standard.

Perfect location to experience Singapore!

The Fairmont Singapore was a great place to stay not only for the clean accommodation, great staff but mostly for the perfect location .. close to shopping and many atttractions and great restaurants! Special notice or Ismael official greeter of the hotel interior .. his warmth and smile gave a perfect start to every morning and activity!

Location is good

Pros: location situated within shopping mall
Cons: Front desk cannot provided us a cheap room even though we pay a promotion rate offered by Expedia. Expedia should reinforce hotel respect its customer
Location: shopping and eating
Hotel is in very old condition, we have to complained up to management level before the hotel willing to change a quiet room away from lifts lobby and away from kids yelling day and night. In addition, the first room provided us with a very slippy bathroom floor and leaking shower with no bathtub. So disappointing.

Clean and nice

Pros: The bathroom.
Cons: Server at Prego, very rude to give a check after 10 minutes of sitting down
Location: Garden by the bay, Chinatown, shopping .....so much to do.
Arrived at the hotel at 6:30am was able to check in by 11am since the room open up. The only thing that needed improvement is the server at Prego, I was not told that the first breakfast was not included (at front desk). I was then told that I can charge it to the room, but after 10 minutes of sitting down, I was told to pay first. Checks are suppose to come last and when I ask, not within 10 minutes of sitting down after a long flight. Paid extra for lounge floor but never got a chance to use it. The room is spacious and clean. Best part is the bathroom, so relaxing.

Lovely hotel, lovely room and a comfy bed

Pros: The room, the bed and of course the Club Level.
Cons: Wish there was a bath in our room.
Location: We have been to Singapore a few times and as we were only on a 4 night stop over, we just chilled by the pool and did not go sightseeing.
We were offered an upgrade to the club level which included breakfast and evening nibbles and drinks for a very reasonable price considering the cost of everything in Singapore. The room was lovely, overlooking the pool, and in the distance we could see the harbour and Marina Bay. The room was very big with a well stocked mini bar, and had everything you need in the way of toiletries in the bathroom. It had an amazing shower but just wish it had a bath as well.

Close to all sight and many eating places
