Problems with check in! Downhill from there.

Our airline had changed our flights. Arrived at hotel at 8am (checkin time 3 pm) explained to them what had happened. We were not checked in yet and wanted to cancel as we had to go back to airport. Reception told us to contact Expedia. We did and when Expedia tried to explain to the hotel the refused to cancel the booking, even after saying it was not a problem. Extremely disappointed at the service when the fault was clearly not ours.

Bad attitude staffs

Pros: NOTHING FOR NOW!!!
Cons: MANY to IMPROVE especially on their CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Took more then 30 mins to response to my request and i still have to walk up to frontdesk to re-request for it!!!! Housekeeping service sucks, question their guest and spoke rudely!!! Operator also sucks, gave wrong information and caused mis-communication badly!!!!!! And at the same time question the guest!!!! RUDE!!!!

Room comfort can be improved

Cons: Room comfort can be improved
Nice hotel, short walk to Orchard Ion & Shaw House. However, room temperature fluctuates throughout the night & air conditioning was rather noisy. We had quite a bad night trying to catch some sleep.

Nice hotel central to everything.

Pros: The location and the helful staff.
Cons: I couldn't fault anything.
Location: Central to shopping and the MTR which is cheap and made easy to get around Singapore once you familiarise yourself with the underground Plazas.
Very pleasant staff couldn't be more helpful. I will be staying here again without hesitation when I come back for another vacation in Singapore.

Excellent service from hotel staff. They've upgraded us from studio room to a suite due to a little error though was not needed. Room was extremely clean as well. Breakfast buffet had little variety however it still managed to fulfil our satisfication due to the excellent services provided by the staffs. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality but yet inexpensive stay

Two Issues

Booked on Expedia and assigned a smoking room. My wife and I cannot stand the smell of stale smoke. Attempted to dine at the hotel restaurant. They told us there were no tables available and that we had to eat in the hotel lobby. We were going to go elsewhere when they relented and gave us a table in the dining room.

Amazing hotel, hidden gem.

Fantastic stay overall. Room was spacious and clean. It's not on the main road but still very close to Orchard Road. We requested a baby cot and was not only provided with a clean and sturdy cot, we also received a baby pack with baby shampoo, wipes etc. which was a lovely surprise. Thank you.
