Love my stay there with my family. Rooms were spacious & most importantly clean. Easy check in & check out. Convenient parking. Buffet breakfast was wide spread and tasty.

Hotel food is Halal. You can also purchase Halal food at vending machine near the entrance of the hotel.

Having stayed at this property on4 orher occasions beforw Covid.
This time I found that the service level and the benifits offetedto guests has been removed.
The room price has drnaticallti creased, coffee pid machines has been removed. The room fridge has been filled with small containers of Apple Juice and other drinks.
The service levels of the consiserges has dramatically reduced compared to previous amazing staff.
This was once a great hotel with great staff.
I wont stay stay at the Royal Plaza on Scott again.

The entrance light inside the room was not working. I didn't bother to complain because its only 1 night stay. Also I thought when I choose deluxe plus, I am getting better view compare with the standard one

Great location , average rooms
The property location is the biggest attraction. The room sizes for this location are adequately big.
The hotel however is old and you can see some wear and tear. The reception is a bit understaffed and manages housekeeping so is a bit delayed.

Room and bathroom were clean, cleaning was regular, the main window could not be closed properly as the lock was broken, the stool in the bedroom was faulty, it had been like that for some time, no Bar in the hotel, a bit disappointing considering the price.

We have been six times to the Royal Plaza and although still clean and tidy. Covid has taken its toil.

The Dining room was extremely noisy and the staff just cleared tables and reset. No personal service. Dirty napkins re used, and the cloth wiping each table was just re used. no sprays to clean.
Cereal choices very limited, couldn't find decaffeinated latte as it was self service from a machine. On last morning everyone at breakfast was told at 9.40a.m. that the restaurant was closing at 10.00a.m. TV intermittent.
Switch with an outline of a red bell crossed through meant do not clean the room, who knew? There was nothing in the room to explain anything.

For the price we had to pay I would rate this as a second rate motel. Toiletries were sub standard and the shower needs maintenance. Also the internet sites should state that THIS IS AN HALAL HOTEL.
Overall I would NOT recommend this hotel.?

Royal Plaza on Scotts is, after Covid restrictions, almost back to its former glory - a real 5 star hotel. The only downside - some of the staff, including housekeeping, have very limited or no English knowledge.
Centrally located near the big intersection with Orchard Road, this hotel is nice, well appointed and immaculately clean. Also reasonably priced for a 4.5 star hotel in the heart of town. If any improvement could be made it would just be to modernise the lobby a bit, but still the lobby is perfectly nice. Our room was modern, updated and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff and delicious breakfast with lots and lots of choices.
Rooms were spacious and house keeping staff kept them neat. The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s very close to the orchard station and that makes travelling very convenient

No shower robe, the room so so only, I expect better for 4 star hotel.

I booked this for my elderly parents. They were very happy with its except for the breakfast on the final day where the Indian National server who was curt, ushered them to a far corner claiming the place was fully booked as if to ask my parents why they’re there?! Really?! Fully booked for breakfast which I already paid for?! Unacceptable
