Nice hotel with lovely staff

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good. Pool area nice.
Cons: Better extraction fan in the bathroom (or fit an opening window). Some more theme nights at the restaurant or breakfast to add some variety.
Location: Sentosa island has a whole heap of activities from theme parks to beaches.
Stayed 4 days in March. The room was nice and spacious and beds comfortable. There was a window in the bedroom but not in the bathroom or living room which made them feel a bit enclosed, and the bathroom door needed to be left open while showering otherwise the whole bathroom would steam up and be damp with condensation afterwards. The restaurant had great food, very tasty and enough selection to not get boring after 4 days (we did eat out one evening at nearby Vivo City). The pool area was very nice, large and with easy access and steps for the kids. Gym was very well kitted out. Only fault I would say was there was no way really to get the young kids to the beach by foot - had to catch a taxi or shuttle to the beach as there are 130-odd steps down to the beach, which are not suitable for little kids. All up pleasant hotel for the location and close (by car or shuttle) to all the Sentosa attractions.

Beautiful Resort!

Pros: Beautiful resort with luxury style rooms.
Location: Beaches are nearby, along with fun activities for people with children.
A beautiful resort with friendly staff. It is slightly out of the way, but taxis in Singapore are very inexpensive so that was not a problem. Overall, the staff have been well trained and go out of their way to assist you. The only slight problem is with room service who try hard to please, but have difficulty understanding English.

So many ant in the room!

We spend 4 nights but we can't sleep well due to the room temperature! We requird every day for check up but couldn't change the room temperature! Until the last night we asked for change the room but we already got sick!

Relaxing atmosphere but overpriced

This hotel needs to work on its maintenance schedules to ensure facilities are kept up to standard. Tiles in bathroom fell off during our stay. Four TV remotes provided - just needed new batteries. Menus lacked variety and very overpriced. Eating out cost a third of the price which was unbelievable.

Pricey hotel not quite living up to expectations.

Pros: The pool area and the local staff. Breakfast bakery is excellent.
Cons: Check in and evening buffets.
Location: Sentosa is slightly cheesy for adults without substantial attractions beyond kiddy stuff. Actually quite boring as a place unless you have children.
Arrived early and waited hours for a room. Sofitel seems to have a "no rooms before three o'clock" policy even if rooms are ready. Given room looking on to green sheeting behind which major landscaping work was in progress. Less than impressed! Better room was offered after refusing the first offer but not very graciously. Pool area is very good and the local staff very friendly and helpful. Evening buffets lack atmosphere and as always with buffets half the food is Luke warm or over-cooked. Hotel decor and appearance is out dated and needs a re-think.

Great family experience

Excellent place for family holiday. Resort is in a great location and even if a bit remote the shuttle to Vivocity and World Resorts is most convenient. Only issue is the remoteness of the fitness centre. Also, take a walk through Palawan beach to the Beach station.

Quiet and private hotel

Check-in was fast and staff were polite and unobtrusive. The hotel grounds are quite big but very quiet and well maintained for that much needed privacy as you will not see many guests about. Rooms were spotless with a seperate ensuite with shower and bathtub. Room service was particularly outstanding as food was delicious.
