Hotel seems very run down, needs basic renos. Upon check in, they were sold out of the superior room we had booked, so we ended up upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. It was a nice room, much more than we needed, before we agreed to this room I made sure to ask if we could stay in it for the duration of our stay. (We ended up deciding to spend an extra 4 days here a few months back, so we had two seperate reservations, I had previously contacted the hotel and asked them to merge the reservations which they said they had done but they had not.) The lady at check in said it would be no problem just to come back the day we were to check out and check back in. We went the day before and were told we would have to move rooms and to come back the next day. Sure enough we were forced to wait around for over an hour while they cleaned a room (on our insistance it was sped up, they wanted us to check out at 11 ans not back in until sometime after 2), and then changed rooms to a normal superior room. So if they offer you an upgrade, because they oversold rooms, beware, you may be expected to move rooms. Also, breakfast is a zoo with very little to choose from for western tastes.
