Great location, fantastic view.

The best thing about Swissotel is its location. Connected to Raffles City shopping centre, you can find an array of food and branded stores (if you're into shopping). Rain days?? Don't you worry! You can either take a trip using Red or Green line from the City Hall station which is just under the shopping mall. Otherwise, you can walk through CityLink (underground mall) towards Suntec or Marina Square without worrying of getting soaked during rainy days.
In regards to room quality, we're quite pleased with our Grand Room. It has fantastic view of the bay as well as a glimpse of the city. Too bad you can't open the balcony to get some fresh air, but you can always walk around the park in front it to get some fresh morning air.
Room quality could've been improved, though! Compared to its bathroom, the room needs a lot of renovation. The room doesn't only "look" vintage, but also "smell" vintage with the ageing furnitures. Don't get me wrong, they actually clean the room well, but you can't avoid the "vintage" atmosphere. But! The shower is superb--powerful shower to give a good massage after a long day of exploring. They're quite generous in prodiving the bathroom amenities, but the room size isn't as generous for a 55m2-size room.
We also used an extra bed in the room for an extra adult and the quality of the extra bed is reasonable (I've seen better rollaway in other hotels).
Oh yes,Responsive staff (although they need to smile a bit more, they're actually very helpful)
