There is a club attached to the hotel and the music is loud and it plays till 4 AM. The staff at the hotel we’re not helpful with the situation. The hotel is dirty, noisy, and poorly run. I do not recommend, strongly do not recommend!

We had an amazing time for spring break , only thing I would say is that the pool needs to be redone after that I really have no complaints. My son and I enjoyed our stay .

Everything went well, the staffs are very nice and helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like, I went to eat with my children the employee took us to the table and never come back. We had the food to eat, but no ustensiles at the table, no water. I had to ask another employee to help me out.

Overall great experience, however I have heard St. Maarten is the friendly island this is not something we experienced at this resort. The staff seemed very dissatisfied, not super customer focused this is primarily in the buffet, the shops on sight and some of the bar tenders. Not what I was expecting and I heard from local guests (people who live on the island) not to rate my St.Maarten experience on this resort because it does not represent the st.Maarten people.

It was super amazing they were kind it was my husbands birthday and he had and awesome time. The spa was top tier that’s massage was everything the masseuse that I had was so nice she even made me cry for how awesome she was . Everything in this hotel was gear made some new friends I will be back

We could not sleep. There is a club that we had no knowledge of near the backside of the hotel. From approximately 11 pm to 4 am heavy base music was playing Friday night. How the Sonesta can make a reservation without informing its guests of this issue is completely unacceptable. We will be contacting the Sonesta to try and get our money.

Very good resort. Easy access. Stuff very friendly. They let me check in earlier because of my baby, they had a crib in the room. Leaning services everyday and fill up the mini fridge. The mini fridge wasn’t working very well once we arrived but they fixed right after we asked to fix. Car rental and tours inside the hotel.

The service at the hotel was horrible. Me and my friends and other guest were badly treated during our stay. The female staff all had an attitude at all the restaurants they were always rude towards me and my friends. I was embarrassed while holding my baby in the buffet and yelled and laughed at by a Haitian and Hispanic staff at the pasta station because I asked if I can get the muscles without the pasta and I told off response she doesn’t work for free and she Isn't doing that. Another morning I sat I waited at the breakfast table for 1/2 hour to be attended to for a cup of tea and coffee, I was completely being ignored and not just me lots of people noticed, they all spoke about the conduct of the staff around the hotel. Mostly it was the women from their 30’s upwards to maybe 55 something all had a problem and was rude. So I finally had to ask someone to serve me and when they came I got hot water, I had to wait another 15 mins to get the tea bag and I had to flag down the server to get cream or milk because I was told you don’t get anything until you ask for it because that’s not how things work in here. So I ask for it was still ignored. After my server made several rounds then she being the milk and not a spoon to stir. I would have helped myself but the spoons and cream you get from your server and plus I was always holding my baby. This happened everyone at the breakfast restaurant. At the dinner table and lunch everyday was a repeat of being yelled at.

This property was very family oriented which I loved as I travelled with my grandsons ages 4 & 8. We were there for my son’s 10 year vowel renewal which the hotel handled perfectly. The ONLY thing I did not like was that the restaurants were a long haul from the resort as I have a bad knee and compared to other “all inclusive” resorts the food was a 6-7 out of 10 but everything else was definitely a 10 out of 10. The staff was very respectful and welcoming, security was visible, room was spacious the bathrooms could use a slight upgrade and per the rest of our party the drinks could use a little more alcohol but a GREAT time was definitely had by all. DEFINITELY plan on staying here again.
