Lovely Accomodations and Very Comfortable

Pros: Well maintained facilities.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Nice to have a Walmart near by.
This is my second stay at Amber Inn. It's a very pleasant place to spend the night in a comfortable environment with decent choices for breakfast, as well.

Nightmare at the Amber Inn

The hotel was nasty the staff are very unfriendly. When i checked in turned cover down to sleep it had feces on the cover underneath. The manager busted through the door with the Do Not Disturb sign on door. If I were you I would NOT stay there.

Good price if you only need sleep

I got there around 8:30pm and most of the town was closed. So, only food was McDonald's or the pizza place right across the street. I chose the pizza place to watch football. My problem was that after traveling all day on a motorcycle and getting to bed late, it was very inconsiderate to start roof repair at 7:30am

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, had a little musty smell to it, but not bad..perhaps air fresheners would help that. The continental breakfast was okay, no fruit :( I would stay again !!

Blue Bunny

This was a planned stop. The building is of the older type, but very well care for. The rooms are clean, and beds are comfy. They have all the things the big hotels have. Stop at Blue Bunny, and had ice cream at 10:30 AM: Doesn't get any better than that!!

It was fine for a night

Stayed one night on our way back east, was clean and comfortable. Desk clerk was not very friendly, but it appeared a lot of oil field workers stayed here. Neighborhood was a little sketchy, but not bad for the price.

Never stay at Amber Inn in Le Mars Iowa

The rooms have a nasty smell to them. As soon as you walk in the door the smell makes you wanna throw up. They lied about having two restaurants, they have none.Their breakfast is nasty. The beds are hard, it's like sleeping on the hard floor. Front desk workers are rude and have attitudes.
