The rooms are so beautiful! Staff is wonderful and very helpful! Short walk to the train station, pretty easy to take it to Venice. Great breakfast and short walk to several restaurants. I would love to return here!

The hotel is really well located to either head into old town by bus, walk to the lake for water sports or along to supermarket and nearby bars and restaurants. Staff are so helpful and pleasant. And the breakfast selection is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay here and would highly recommend!

Ok hotel, good location but short stays only.
Hotel is ok for a short visit. Rooms are big and clean but beds not very comfy. We had a double room which was 2 single beds pushed together, very springy and uncomfortable. Shower was tiny. Hotel rules are very strict, wouldn’t recommend as a family hotel. Pool rules very strict, no balls, inflatables and closes between 1pm - 3pm. Can only have food and drink bought from hotel, can be expensive. Good shuttle from outside hotel into centre of Sirmione. Would recommend as a short stay hotel for someone looking to visit Lake Garda, but don’t stay too many nights.

A week in a lovely hotel in Sirmione
Lovely staff, well maintained, it had everything we needed from our stay. Comfortable queen sized double bed. Nice balcony overlooking the garden and pool area. All staff were pleasant and efficient. The local shuttle bus into the old town ran every 20 minutes and cost 2 euros each with a stop immediately over the road from the hotel. We had a hire car and always got parked in the car park. If i had to give a criticism it would be a small one about the limited choice of cooked breakfast available, however plenty of continental breakfast options were available. We would definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great hotel for a reasonable price!
Lovely hotel! Rooms have everything you need including are spacious balconies. I asked for a room facing the harbor and that's what I got! The hotel staff is very kind. Especially two women named Valentina in the reception. I lost my passport and they did everything they could to help. Made phone calls for me, gave advices etc. We also really liked the breakfasts. There is a plenty of things, full of seasonal fruits and in terms of sweet things in general it feels like a bakery! I have not met such an abundance in other places. In terms of location, I find it very convenient for trips around Lake Garda. The underground parking for hotel guests is free of charge. The price was good too. In short, highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here for my birthday, fantastic suite, with a lovely balcony and view of the lake. The staff were amazing in helping my partner with a trip he had organised yet had to cancel. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon. 😃

Best Hotel in area!
Porto Azzurro is the nicest place I stayed at in 6 weeks of continuous travel in Italy. The front desk staff, the servers in the breakfast room and all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast which is included included foods for people from all over Europe.

Lovely relaxing stay.
Lovely hotel, we had a lovely balcony view, basic room but what we needed. Due to covid there was minimal amenities in the room but staff were happy to give us what we needed. Breakfast was table service rather than buffet and staff were run off their feet so it took longer, but they did their best to accommodate us. Reception staff also very helpful. I felt safe and that covid precautions were taken seriously. The use of bikes to get around the area was also helpful.

We stayed at Hotel Porto Azzurro for only one night because Sirmione was a stopover on our drive back to Munich. I wish we could have stayed longer because the area is beautiful, and so was the hotel. When we arrived mid-afternoon, it was raining so we didn't get to see the vista from Lake Garda to the mountains just beyond. But, I digress. The hotel is pretty, modern, clean, has nice amenities and offered a good, complimentary breakfast. The bedding was comfortable, and the linens and towels of good quality. Parking was a breeze, as the hotel has its own lot. Sirmione reminded me of the southern California coast, but instead of ocean, there was lake and mountains. I would call the area posh and trendy, kind of like Carmel, because of its boutique shops and nice restaurants. The terrain is also flat, so walking is easy. Instead of eating dinner in town — many restaurants were closed on the Friday night in October when we were there — we dined in the hotel's restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was good. I ordered risotto with capers — an unusual, tasty entree.

Cleanliness is probably the strongest point of the hotel. The staff at the reception was nice and helpful, however staff in a restaurant (apart from one person) was quite rude. Every question or request we asked was a problem. The half-board option was weirdly organised as well. You're getting a menu for the next day and you have to decide what you want to eat (you have a choice of 4 first and 4 second courses). Standard option you would expect would be pizza, mozzarella, prosciutto - none of them was offered. Dinner was usually quite bland and not very tasty. The same breakfast was served everyday - again not many options. The hotel has free bike rental which is great, but also mention a tenis court that is not there. Overall the stay was ok, no fireworks at all.

The bus stop is directly opposite and is so easy to use to get to the old town. Great reception, very helpful in giving us maps etc for our short stay. The pool is really nice too.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely family suite, 2 separate sleeping areas for adults and teenagers, good size bathroom, 2 separate balcony areas, view of the lake, nice size bathroom. Plenty of continental choice at breakfast, sitting inside or outside. Pool area clean and plenty of sun loungers. 24 hour bar! Good location, shuttle bus to old town Sirmione outside hotel (€1.50) Would definitely use this hotel again if I was ever to go back.

A charming hotel with excellent service. They were all very nice and hearty. I was glad to find out they were renting bikes for guests. Large, clean rooms (a pity that there is no separation between them). Breakfast is very good !. Dinner with a small variety of options. It is disappointing that you do not get water or drink at all, and you have to buy water. Strange?! Total experience is good and worth the money

This was our second stay at the hotel. We stayed there about 4 years ago. We liked it the first time hence our return this year. The staff are friendly & helpful giving us all the information we required. The rooms are very clean & functional. The breakfast is very good with a nice choice of food. We also ate in the restaurant on a couple nights where the food was very nice. We like the position of the hotel as it is close to all the amenities of the town. The other advantage is the shuttle bus service which takes you to the old town & runs about every 15 minutes with the bus stop being directly opposite the hotel.. Overall a nice stay & would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly and professional, the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the pool is inviting. The location is ideal if you have a car, and bikes are included with your stay if you would like to go along the peninsula and explore Sirmione. We only wish we had stayed longer.

nice 3 star hotel
close to sirmione but not too close to be too busy with pedestrians, 30 min walk to area or 10 mins on bus, with bus stop outside. Nice quite area, decent pool. Good selection for breakfast and added bonus of half board included in price, which meals were ok, maybe a little lost in translation but nevertheless very edible.

Great Hotel - Good location away from the crowds
This hotel is in a wonderful location, you have access to the shuttle bus across the road to the main part of Sirmione. 1 euro and only takes 5/6 mins, they come along every 20 mins. Brilliant service. Also just around the corner you have Colombare where there is plenty of bars & restaurants for a different evening to the crowds in Sirmione. The hotel itself is really nice, friendly staff, great pool area, lovely buffet breakfast and spacious rooms. The hotel provide free bikes which is fantastic for a ride around the town and all the back roads and the small harbour near the hotel.
