Bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis am Stadtrand

Posted Aug 26, 2015

Breakfast was disappointing

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: It was close to the national totem park.
Cons: Breakfast. Also the room wasn't cleaned before we arrived.
Location: Location was a little far from town and in a pretty seedy area along a busy road. I felt safe walking during the day, but not at night.
The breakfast consisted of fruit and packaged sweets and packaged bread and bagels, and small containers of yogurt

Great value.

Pros: Staff, room size and price.
Cons: No..
Location: Bear fortress and raptor centre, totem park...all great.
This hotel is a little out of the centre of town but it's a pleasant walk. Staff are exceptional . Rooms big and all needs met. Comfortable beds and pillows. Mexican restaurant next door. Near the Raptor centre which was a must see. Half the price of other hotels.

Great place to stay!

Great little place to stay. Quiet, very clean, and the staff is very helpful. Just a short walk to town. Just looking at the outside of the hotel you wouldn't expect it to be so nice inside...it's a secret little hidden gem of a hotel. Will be coming back!

Worked out great

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Loved the continental breakfast that allowed me to eat a snack or make it a meal for the day. It is always out and accessible; not so at chains!
Cons: The chair in the room could be replaced.
Location: On the main road that connects the harbor to the other end of the town. Within a mile or so of the downtown area. Easy to walk or catch the bus.
The hotel is in a strip mall. Seemed a bit odd given the name, but once checked in it turned out great. Walking each day to the downtown area through a rain forest was amazing. Got gentle exercise while sightseeing. Also got to be with locals which was an added bonus. Would stay here again.

Bit too far out of town.

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness of the rooms and free pick up from airport or ferry.
Cons: Breakfast was mainly unhealthy, fattening muffins and pastries. It would have been nice to have some breakfast cereal or hard boiled eggs.
Location: It is 15 mins walk to the Raptor Centre. Similar distance to the totem pole forest with the occasional bear.
The hotel itself is very good. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff helpful. They offer a free pick up and drop off to the airport or ferry terminal. It is a two mile walk to the centre of town but you can cut half a mile off if you are willing to take the short cut through the forest with a slight chance of meeting a bear. There are snacks and coffee available all day. Breakfast consists of the same snacks which are of the muffin, Apple turnover variety, although there is yogourt in the fridge and fresh fruit.

Welcoming.

We arrived after new management had taken over and Vickie was absolutely great as well as the rest of the staff. She provided the best smoked salmon for breakfast. They picked us up at the ferry terminal. The hotel is like a travel lodge but clean. However, you need a car to stay there as it's too far from town.
