“This huge hotel would have been state of the art in the 1990's but very little seems to have been spent on it since. The centrally controlled AC is utterly hopeless and the rooms are boiling. The shower head was filthy and clearly hadn't been descaled for years. The shower tray was grim. Several things didn't work properly. Breakfast distinctly average for a Turkish 4 star hotel. Some staff cheerfully did their best; others sermed to have given up completely. Best avoided”
“JUST TO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF STAYING IN A CARAVANSERAI WAS AWESOME. EASY TO IMAGINE CAMELS AND THEIR DRIVERS OFF LOADING BALES OF SILK FROM PERSIA ON THE GROUND FLOOR, WHILE THE TRADERS AND MERCHANTS LIVED ON THE ABOVE FLOOR. IT WAS SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT. AND THE BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB.”
